AROUND CRANBURY: Chase away winter blues with a book

AROUND CRANBURY By Lorraine Sedor Join the Cranbury Public Library book group on Thursdays to chat about your favorite books.

The last bleak weeks of winter can be dull indeed. A good book and some interesting people with whom you might argue its finer points may be just the ticket to help you make it to the first crocus.
The Cranbury Public Library book group meets the fourth Thursday of every month at 7:30 p.m. in the Cranbury Public Library meeting room. Everyone is welcome.
If you’ve read one of the book selections and feel like talking about it, just come to the meeting and join that night’s discussion. The book selections for the next two months are: Feb. 24, "Reading Lolita in Tehran" by Azar Nafisi; March 24, "Drinking Coffee Elsewhere" by ZZ Packer.
