The Board of Trustees and the Associates Board of McCarter Theatre Center will host a 75th Anniversary Gala Benefit on Saturday, April 16, honoring McCarter’s rich history and featuring a performance by actress and comedian Lily Tomlin.
Co-chairs of the event are Kathryn F. Gardner and Joan E. Knapp. Gala Committee members are Susan Adams, Noreen E. Coutin, Cheryl Goldman, Christina Henderson, Barbara Horowitz, Nora Kerr, Vanessa LaFranco, Hannah Schussel and Natalie Star.
Proceeds of the fund-raiser will benefit McCarter’s artistic and educational programs. A new book and video commemorating the anniversary will also be unveiled.
Two ticket options are available.
Guests purchasing a $175 ticket will be served hors d’oeuvres at 6:30 p.m. at the Palmer House, 1 Bayard Lane, Princeton, receive preferred seating for Ms. Tomlin’s performance, attend a dessert reception and have their names listed in the Gala Benefit program.
Those holding $350 tickets will enjoy cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and dinner beginning at 5:30 p.m. at McCarter Theatre; be given prime seating for the performance; attend the dessert reception, and also be listed in the program.
