HILLSBOROUGH Elizabeth "Libby"(Quick) Pace died March 15. She was 88.
Born on the Beekman Homestead Farm in Hillsborough, she lived in Hillsborough all her life.
Mrs. Pace was employed as an office manager for Fred Thomas Insurance Agency, Somerville, for more than 20 years, retiring in 1981.
She was a member of the South Branch Reformed Church in Hillsborough, where she was a member of the Women’s Guild and the Belle Choir.
She was a member of the Hillsborough Rockettes and Rockets and the Hillsborough Senior Citizens. She volunteered at the Children’s Health Clinic at the Hillsborough Health Department.
Her husband, Frank Elwood Pace, died in 1978. A sister, Josephine Scott; and a brother, J. Preston, Jr., are deceased.
Surviving are two daughters, Donna P. Taylor of Goodrich, Mich., and Bonnie Schaefer of Middlesex; a sister, Helen Ann Hannington; five grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were March 18 from Bruce C. VanArsdale Funeral Home, Somerville, with a church service at South Branch Reformed Church. Interment was in South Branch Reformed Church Cemetery.
