The New Jersey Museum of Agriculture, 103 College Farm Road, North Brunswick, will hold “Sheep to Shawl” April 3 from noon to 3 p.m.
The event will feature three live sheep shearings throughout the day; hands-on carding, spinning, felting, weaving and dying of yarn tassels; wool crafts and activities such as making a friendship bracelet; and demonstrations of spinning and crocheting. Admission is $4, $3 for seniors, $2 for children age 4-12, and free for museum members and children age 3 and younger (some craft and food activities may include a small fee).
