Music of jazz artists to be heard on April 6

The Central Jersey Jazz Association (CJJA) will offer a presentation titled “Memories of 52nd Street” from 7:30-9:30 p.m. on April 6 in the Township Council Conference Room in the North Brunswick municipal complex, 710 Hermann Road.

The program will use audio and visual means to re-create the music of jazz artists including Lester Young, Billie Holiday, Coleman Hawkins, Oscar Pettiford, Dizzy Gillespie, Charlie Parker, George Wallington, Kenny Clarke, Bud Powell, Fats Navarro and more.
