First Baptist Church, 232 Main St., Matawan, will host the 26th annual African violet show and sale will be April 8 from 3-7 p.m., and April 9 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The event will feature show-quality, judged African violets, other gesneriads and floral designs. Rare and unusual, high-quality plants and leaves will be for sale. Admission is free.
