One Book discussion groups will be held during April, with the daytime group meeting April 18 at 9 a.m., and the evening group April 19 at 7:30 p.m.
Adult readers are invited to read the state-wide selection “To Kill a Mockingbird,” and join one of the two discussion groups at the library. Nancy Nelly will lead the day group, and Bettyjane Bolan-Kenny the evening group. Both are professors in the English department at Brookdale Community College, Lincroft section of Middletown. Participants may come from any community, but must be older than 18.

Newcomers’ ‘Ladies Night Out’ April 14
The Middletown Newcomers’ Club will hold “Ladies Night Out” April 14 at 7:30 p.m. at Windansea, 56 Shrewsbury Ave., Highlands.
Cost is $38 for nonmembers and $35 for members. The menu will include appetizers, salad, vegetables, choice of entree, dessert, and coffee or tea (soft drinks and alcoholic beverages are additional).
