Astronomer to address AAUW April 4

The American Association of University Women, Northern Monmouth County Branch, will welcome astronomer Elaine Lent, Lincroft section of Middletown, April 4 at 7:30 p.m. at the Eatontown Community Center, 58 Broad St.

Lent will address the role of astronomy in the American Revolution. She will recall astronomical findings made by Major Gen. William Alexander, Basking Ridge, an amateur astronomer who served under George Washington during the American Revolution.
