The Board of Education elections on April 19 are an opportunity for the voters to help give the children of Sayreville the best education possible, while keeping in mind the needs of the taxpayers, especially those on a fixed income.
For that reason I will be voting for Pat Lembo. I serve as present of the Sayreville Leprechauns Pop Warner Football and Cheerleading Association, and Pat has worked with me as my vice president for the past three years in helping to run the Leprechauns organization. I have found him to be extremely dedicated to the children of our town. I’m sure the work ethic and innovative thinking he has brought to the Leprechaun organization will go a long way in helping to build a better school system for our children.
We need a candidate who will challenge our legislators to change some of the laws that are putting unfair burdens on Sayreville homeowners. I know Pat is up to that task and will fight relentlessly to bring much-needed changes to our system of funding school-board budgets.
