Diana Kirchwey Krejci of Princeton died Thursday at home. She was 73.
   Born in Rye, N.Y., she moved to Princeton with her second husband in 1968.
   She was an editor for Macmillan Publishing and Princeton University Press.
   Her interests included art, literature, music, animals and travel.
   Daughter of the late Prunella and Karl Kirchwey, ex-wife of Malcolm W. Browne and the late George Krejci, she is survived by her daughters and son-in-law Wendy and Alister Sanderson of New York City and Prue Collier of Yardley, Pa.; son and daughter-in-law Jonathan Krejci and Laurie Powsner of Princeton; brother and sister-in-law Kim and Ruth Kirchwey of Cambridge, Mass.; grandchildren Kate and Colin Sanderson, Ben and Sarah Krejci, and Michael and Michelle Collier; and nieces and nephew Debbie, Devon and Alex.
   A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Princeton, 50 Cherry Hill Road, Princeton.

EWING — Howie Bingham Kiser died Wednesday at Capital Health System’s Mercer Campus. She was 77.
   Born in Weverton, Md., she and her husband lived in the Rochester, N.Y., area and Pittsburgh before moving to Trenton in 1960 and the West Trenton section of Ewing in 1998.
   Mrs. Kiser was employed by Princeton University from 1971 to 1993 in the Alumni Records Department and the Alumni Council Office, retiring as an assistant director of the council.
   She earned the affection and gratitude of many Princeton alumni for her help beyond the requirements of her job, and she was made an honorary member of three Princeton classes: 1955, 1975 and 1984. The Alumni Association also presented her with the Alumni Council Award for Service to Princeton in 1986.
   She was a member of Grace Church for 35 years and, more recently, of Trinity United Methodist Church, Ewing. In addition to her church, she supported many environmental, humanitarian and social-justice causes.
   Mrs. Kiser graduated in 1945 from Mars Hill College in North Carolina, then a junior college, and she earned her bachelor’s degree in 1947 from the University of Richmond.
   She was a diehard fan of Princeton University men’s basketball, rarely missing a home game. She was equally enthusiastic about the performances of the Princeton Triangle Club and had seen every show since 1972, a pleasure heightened in 200l when her grandson became a Princeton student and joined the cast for the next four years.
   Daughter of the late Edith Hightman and David Howie Bingham Jr., wife of the late Kent L. Kiser, who was pastor of Grace Baptist Church, Trenton, from 1960 until his death in 1993, sister of the late Mildred L. Bingham, Mary A. Bingham and Dorothy B. Brubaker, she is survived by her daughter and grandson, A. Melissa Kiser and David B. Mesrobian of West Trenton; sisters-in-law Virginia Kiser Fletcher of Kingsport, Tenn., and Mary Elizabeth Jessee Kiser of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; and several cousins.
   A memorial service is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 23 at Princeton University Chapel with the Rev. Dr. A. Roy Medley, general secretary of American Baptist Churches USA, officiating.

Elizabeth MacLaren

EAST WINDSOR — Elizabeth MacLaren died March 29 at home in Meadow Lakes. She was 95.
   Born in Princeton, she was a lifelong area resident and a graduate of Miss Fine’s School in Princeton.
   She was an administrative assistant at Educational Testing Service.
   Daughter of the late Malcolm and Angelina Post Hodge MacLaren, sister of the late Angelina H. MacLaren, she is survived by seven nieces and nephews and 16 great-nieces and great-nephews.
   Services were held Monday.
   Arrangements were under the direction of Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, Princeton.
Harry P. Stevens
Longtime Montgomery resident
   
LAKE ARIEL, Pa. — Harry P. Stevens died Saturday at University Medical Center at Princeton. He was 78.
   Born in New York City, he was a resident of Montgomery Township for many years prior to moving to Wallenpaupack Lake Estates retirement community.
   He was a purchasing agent for Burns & Roe, M.W. Kellogg and Princeton University Plasma Physics Laboratory. Prior to his retirement from Ebasco Inc., he was contracts manager in the Arlington, Va., office.
   He was an active member of his retirement community, serving on many committees. He was a member of Princeton Elks Lodge No. 2129.
   Son of the late Peter and Magdalena Stelmahchuk, brother of the late Joseph Stelmahchuk, he is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; sons and daughters-in-law Gregory and Sandra of Odessa, Fla.; James and Patricia of Hamilton Township, Paul and Toni of Bridgewater and Robert and Cindy of Montgomery; daughters and sons-in-law Lisa and Peter Miller of Allentown and Jeanne and Nick Mistretta of Montgomery; sister Julie Betlejewski; and grandchildren Jamie, Jon, James, Devin, Nichole, Cassie, Kyle, Brianne, Blake, Melissa, Ashley, Alexandra and Nicholas.
   Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Hopewell.
   Interment will follow at St. Bernard’s Cemetery, Bridgewater.

Joanne D. Rumer

LANGHORNE, Pa. — Joanne Day Rumer died Saturday after a brief illness. She was 70.
   She was a longtime Princeton resident prior to moving to Langhorne last year. She also was a resident of Cape May Point.
   Mrs. Rumer grew up in Philadelphia, where she graduated from St. Benedict’s School, Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls. She was a graduate of Immaculata University, Malvern, Pa.
   Daughter of the late Thomas and Nellie Day, sister of the late Alice Domm, Catherine Burcher and John Day, she is survived by her husband, Robert J. Rumer Jr.; sons and daughters-in-law Robert III and Eileen of Kimberton, Pa., Scott and Suzanne of Chester Springs, Pa., and Timothy and Pamela of Suwanee, Ga.; and grandchildren Robert IV, Katherine, Brielle, Thomas Scott II, Ryan, Geneva and Shelby.
   The funeral is scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, 40 Vandeventer Ave., Princeton.
   Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, 214 Nassau St., Princeton.
   Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
   Burial will be in the family plot in Princeton Cemetery.
   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Shrine of St. John Neumann, 1019 N. 5th St., Philadelphia, PA 19123.
