Pamela Wiget
Ms. Wiget, 44, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died March 28 in Rose Mountain Care Center, New Brunswick. She was predeceased by her parents, Joyce and Robert Wiget. Surviving are three children, Tara Cook of Morris Plains, John Jasko of Sayreville and Stephanie Jasko of Barnegat; two brothers, Mark Wiget of the Iselin section of Woodbridge and Robert Wiget of Barnegat; a sister, Tobi Jo Wiget of North Brunswick; and a granddaughter. Services were held at Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin. Cremation was private.
Viola Ronge Vitale
Mrs. Vitale, 77, of East Brunswick, formerly of the Colonia section of Woodbridge, died March 21 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Her husband, Joseph J. Vitale, died in 1994. Surviving are a daughter, Diane Palmer of East Brunswick; a son, state Sen. Joseph F. Vitale (D-19); a brother, Joseph B. Ronge Jr. of Sioux Falls, S.D.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A funeral service was held at First Presbyterian Church, Avenel section of Woodbridge. Interment was in Rosehill Cemetery, Linden. William S. Ruby
Mr. Ruby, 75, of East Brunswick, died March 28 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to his retirement in 1991, he was a chemical engineer with Asea Brown Boveri, North Brunswick, where he worked for 20 years. He was a former member of the East Brunswick Zoning Board of Adjustment. Surviving are his wife, Adelaide Grant Ruby; a son, Stephen G. Ruby of Superior, Colo.; two daughters, Kathryn M. Lunde of Hatfield, Pa., and Anne E. Kelch of Oxnard, Calif.; a brother, Adam Ruby of Lehighton, Pa.; two sisters, Gladys Hocutt of Jamestown, R.I., and Virginia Eulie of Port Richey, Fla.; and seven grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Corpus Christi Church, South River. Cremation was private. Memorial contributions may be made to Corpus Christi Church, 18 James St., South River, NJ 08882.
Helen D. Chmielewski Savino
Mrs. Savino, 83, of East Brunswick, died April 2 in Arnold Walter Nursing Home, Hazlet. Surviving are her husband, Frank W. Savino Sr.; a daughter, Helene Bogusz of Matawan; a son, Frank W. Savino Jr. of Orlando, Fla.; a sister, Josie Wroclawski of Tuckerton; and four grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Bartholomew’s Church, East Brunswick.
