Hopewell Valley Republicans will hold their annual Spring Breakfast on April 16 from 8:30-10:30 a.m. at H. I. Rib & Co., Route 31, Hopewell Township.
This year’s event honors Titusville resident Janet Crum.
A NJ certified emergency medical technician and instructor, Ms. Crum has been an active member of the Union Fire Company and Rescue Squad since 1969. She has held numerous leadership positions.
She volunteered at Ground Zero and is now a member of the Hopewell Township Charter Study Commission.
Office administrator for the Mercer County Republican Committee, she holds a master’s degree from Trenton State College, now the College of NJ. She has co-chaired the Hopewell Harvest Fair, is a life member of Titusville United Methodist Church, and is a former NJ state bowling champion.
Ms. Crum has won numerous volunteer achievement awards from groups such as the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, and Union Fire Company. Ten years ago she was named "NJ Volunteer of the Year" by Chemical Bank.
"We hope all of Jan’s friends and associates in Hopewell Valley will join us to recognize her incredible contributions to our community," said Ken Baker, president of the Valley Republican Association.
Tickets are $16 at the door and can be reserved in advance by contacting Mr. Baker at 737-8714. The public is invited to attend.
