Louis Forman
TAMARAC, Fla. Louis Forman, 91, died March 29 at the University Hospital in Tamarac, Fla.
Born in Albany, N.Y., Mr. Forman resided in Brooklyn, N.Y., most of his life. He had been a resident of Florida for the last 25 years.
He was a retired U.S. customs official after many years of service. Mr. Forman was a member of the Knights of Pythias and a longtime member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, where he served as a secretary for the local chapter for many years.
He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Formansky and the husband of the late Charlotte (Kaminsky) Forman who died in 1984. He is survived by one son, Arthur S. Forman of East Windsor; two brothers, Mendel and Shiah Forman of Queens, N.Y.; and several nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday from the Kingston & Kemp Funeral Home, 260 Whitehorse Ave., Hamilton. Rabbi Howard Hersh of Brothers of Israel Congregation officiated.
Burial followed in New Montifiore Cemetery, Queens, N.Y.

Elizabeth MacLaren
EAST WINDSOR Elizabeth MacLaren, 95, of Meadow Lakes, died March 29 at her home.
Born in Princeton, she was a lifelong area resident and a graduate of Miss Fine’s School.
She was an administrative assistant at Education Testing Services, Princeton.
Daughter of the late Malcolm and Angelina Post Hodge MacLaren, sister of the late Angelina H. MacLaren, she is survived by seven nieces and nephews and 16 great-nieces and great-nephews.
A graveside service was held Monday at the Princeton Cemetery, Princeton.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, Princeton.
Nyah Mercedes Vargas
HIGHTSTOWN Nyah Mercedes Vargas, born Oct. 6, 2004, died March 30, overcome by her illness at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
She is survived by her mother, Ryanne Screws of Hightstown and her father, David Vargas Jr. of East Windsor; her two brothers, Davon Vargas of North Carolina and Kyiear Vargas of Trenton; her grandparents, Tony and Pamella Screws of Hightstown and David and Mercedes Vargas of East Windsor; her great-grandparents, Edgar and Clara Thomas of Florida and Tomasa Colon of New York; four aunts and five uncles, Erin Screws of Hightstown, Jesse and Kim Vargas of Virginia, Jeremy Vargas of New York, Spencer Brown of Georgia, Israel and Alicia Vargas of East Windsor, Luis Vargas of East Windsor, Evita Vargas of East Windsor; and a multitude of first and second cousins.
Funeral services were held Saturday at the Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown.
Burial followed in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hightstown.
