CentraState’s Health Awareness centers, Freehold Township, have scheduled several health and wellness programs.
The following programs will be held at the center at 65 Gibson Place. To register, call (732) 308-0570. Preregistration is required for all events.
• Infant/child CPR will be offered April 14, 7:15-10:15 p.m. The fee is $30 per person or $50 per couple for one course, or $50/$100 for both courses.
The following programs will be held at CentraState Medical Center, West Main St., Freehold Township; to register, call (732) 308-0570.
• A Baby Fair will be held April 19, 6:30-8 p.m., in the Zwerling Auditorium, fifth floor. The event will feature obstetricians, pediatricians, family practice doctors, hospital staff, health-related vendors, tours of the maternity department, and door prizes. Free, but preregistration requested.
• Additional tours of the maternity department will be conducted April 16, 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., and April 19, 4:30-5:30 p.m.
The following programs will be held at the center located in Freehold Raceway Mall; call (732) 294-0011.
• A baby-sitting clinic for ages 11-15 will be held April 16, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (bring bag lunch). The fee is $30.
• CPR for baby-sitters ages 13-18 will be offered April 23, 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The fee is $35.
• “1-2-3 Magic,” offering parents helpful advice on effective discipline for children ages 2-12, will be offered by Freehold Community Counseling April 14, 21 and 28, from 7-9 p.m. The fee is $32, which includes books, for the first parent, and $5 for the second parent in the family.
