Lina Carovillano

   MANVILLE — Lina "Lee" (Mengak) Carovillano died Sunday at home. She was 87.
   Born in Manville, she had been a lifelong resident of the borough.
   Mrs. Carovillano was a former employee of RCA in Bridgewater for 15 years.
   She was a communicant of Christ the King Roman Catholic Church in Manville.
   She was a member of Manville Fire Co. No. 3 Ladies Auxiliary, and a former member of the Manville Senior Citizen’s Club.
   Her husband, George Carovillano, died in 1999; her son, George Carovillano, died in 1988; and her two brothers, John Mengak and Louis Mengak are deceased.
   Surviving are two daughters, Lorraine C. Hladun of Long Valley and Beverly Kicis formerly of Somerville (recent residence unknown); six grandchildren; and a great-grand child.
   Funeral services were held April 13 from Fucillo and Warren Funeral Home in Manville, followed by a funeral liturgy at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
