The Princeton University Football team has invited women of the surrounding communities to learn more about football, in a hands-on teaching and coaching environment, while benefiting cancer research.
On Sunday, May 1, the team coaching staff will conduct The 2005 Women’s Clinic, a day of learning about and playing football. The clinic will be held at Princeton Stadium on the campus of Princeton University.
The cost is $30, with all proceeds going to the Cancer Institute of New Jersey.
The day’s curriculum will include a rules seminar, equipment demonstration, drills, position instruction, offense, defense and strategy sessions. The day will culminate in a flag football game. Door prizes will be awarded.
Proceeds from the clinic will benefit the Cancer Institute, the first and only National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center in the state. CINJ is a center of excellence of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
