Wilhelmina Mills
Wilhelmina Slover Mills, 86, of Jamesburg, died Monday, April 11, at the Clara Maass Continuing Care Center, Kearny.
Born in Old Bridge, Ms. Mills lived in the Browntown section of Old Bridge before moving to Jamesburg in 1944. Ms. Mills was employed as an assembly worker for Bankers Box, Cranbury, before her retirement. Previously, she was employed by Washington Forge Co., Englishtown. She was a member of the Jamesburg Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary.
Her husband, Francis H. Mills, died in 1984. She is survived by her two daughters, Joyce Pabin of Wallington, and Frances Gallagher of Freetown, N.Y.; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Services were held Thursday, April 14, at Lester Memorial Home, Jamesburg. Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Deans. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to either the Jamesburg Volunteer Fire Department or to an animal shelter of your choice.
