Cranbury voters overwhelmingly backed a school budget Tuesday night that will decrease taxes by a penny.
The $15.6 million budget was supported by a 303-76 vote. The budget will mean that the owner of a house assessed at the township average of $225,000 will pay $4,905 in school taxes, a $22 decrease from 2004-2005.
In addition, voters supported the three incumbents, all of whom ran unopposed. Kenneth Griffin garnered 308 votes, Elizabeth Silverman 307 votes and Frank Ransegnola 303 votes.
