Faye Azer
   MANSFIELD — Faye Azer died April 14 in Placerville, Calif. She was 83.
   Born in Shenandoah, Pa., Ms. Azer was a former resident of Paramus before moving to the Columbus section of Mansfield 17 years ago.
   Ms. Azer was a graduate of Mount Sinai Jewish Hospital in Philadelphia and a registered nurse.
   She was a life member of Hadassah, a founding member of the Jewish Community Center in Paramus and a member of Adath Emanuel in Mount Laurel.
   Wife of the late Irving Azer, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Howard Azer and Laurie Kruger-Azer of Lawrence; a daughter and son-in-law, Debra Azer Brown and Robert Brown of Cameron Park, Calif.; a brother, Abe Prensky; and three grandchildren, Josh and David Azer and Rebecca Brown.
   Funeral services were held Sunday at Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel in Ewing.
   A period of mourning will be observed at the Azer residence in Lawrence.

Robert A. Bier
   LUMBERTON — Robert A. Bier died April 13 at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly. He was 61.
   Born and raised in Trenton, he resided there until moving to Lumberton two years ago. He was a U.S. Army veteran and served during the Vietnam War.
   He was previously employed for 12 years by St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton as a specialty mechanic electrician and worked for several years at US Steel Fairless Works. He was a member of the American Legion and International Union of Operating Engineers Local 68 AFLCIO.
   He was an avid fan of horse racing, NASCAR and computers, and he loved to travel.
   Son of the late Adam and Rose Petrolini Bier and brother of the late twin sister Roberta Bonnie Bier, he is survived by his wife, Marie Mennel of Lumberton; four daughters, Donna Castro and her husband Quintin of North Carolina, Nicole DiPrinzio and her husband Anthony of Horsham, Pa., Jennifer Mennel and her fiancé Anthony Ricca of Maple Shade, and Kristina Martino and her husband Philip of Lawrence; a son, Matthew Mennel of Riverside; a sister, Gwen Allen and her husband Michael of Trenton; two nephews and two nieces, Michael, Joshua, Mary and Rebecca Allen; and eight grandchildren.
   Funeral services were held Sunday from the Huber-Moore Funeral Home, Bordentown.

William Schiavoni
   BERNARDS — William Schiavoni, 83, died Monday at Morristown Memorial Hospital.
   Born in Providence, R.I., he lived in the Basking Ridge section of Bernards for the past 30 years, moving there from Baldwin, N.Y.
   He retired in 1984 from AT&T in Basking Ridge and New York where he was director of customer relations.
   He graduated from the University of Virginia in 1946.
   A U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, he was an avid golfer. He was a member of St. James Church in Basking Ridge.
   Mr. Schiavoni is survived by his wife, Doris R. (Nadeau) Schiavoni of Basking Ridge; two sons, John Louis Schiavoni of Snellville, Ga., and Richard W. Schiavoni of Bernardsville; three daughters, Anne S. Colucci of Garden City, N.Y., Diane E. Garland of Long Valley and Carol T. Russ of Lawrence; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
   Visitation will be held today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Gallaway & Crane Funeral Home, 101 S. Finley Ave. Basking Ridge.

   A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. James Church and the entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway.

Harriet Murdock Stanley
   HIGHTSTOWN — Harriet Murdock Stanley, 100, died Saturday at Meadow Lakes Retirement Community.
   Born in East Orange, she and her husband lived for many years in South Orange before moving to Rossmoor and Meadow Lakes. Mr. Stanley was general counsel for Rockefeller Center Inc. from 1933 until his retirement in 1969.
   She was the widow of the late Cyril S. Stanley, who died in 1989. She is survived by her sister Caroline Pratt of Greenville, S.C.; her daughter Judith S. Burks of Princeton; her son James S. Stanley of Ormond Beach, Fla.; six grandchildren, Katharine Hackett of Belle Mead, Holly Becker of Lawrence, Deborah Southwick of Old Greenwich, Conn., William Burks Jr. of Duxbury, Vt., Pamela Coffman of Greenville, N.C., and Gordon Stanley of Charlotte, N.C.; and 14 great-grandchildren.
   
   A memorial service was held Monday at Trinity Church, Princeton.
   Burial service was private at All Saints Church Cemetery.
   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Princeton Area Community Foundation, 15 Princess Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
   Arrangements were under the direction of the Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, Princeton.
Joseph D. Tramontana
   SMYRNA, Ga. — Joseph Dominick Tramontana, formerly of Ewing, died April 6 at Kennestone Hospital, Marietta, Ga. He was 79.
   Born in Trenton, Mr. Tramontana resided in Smyrna, Ga., for four years and was a former resident of Ewing for many years.
   He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in France during World War II.
   He was formerly employed as an estimator and construction supervisor with Carl Jacobelli Builders of Trenton for 20 years. Mr. Tramontana was a past member of the Ewing Kiwanis and an accomplished cabinetmaker and carpenter whose skill and love for his work was evident in every project he undertook.
   Son of the late Luciano and Damiana Tramontana, and brother of the late Jimmy and Michael Tramontana and Tina Angeli, he is survived by his wife of 34 years, Dolores Tramontana; his children, Joseph of Arkansas, Richard and his wife Jeri of Ewing, and daughter Diana of Hollywood, Fla; and grandchildren, Richard Joseph and Jenna Noel Tramontana of New Jersey, Vincent and Michelle Cocho of Florida, Jonathan and Jared Conard of New Jersey, Christie Leigh Dentel of Georgia and Shawn and Cody Conard of New Jersey. He also is survived by stepchildren, John Conard and his wife Debbie of Pennington, Patti McKinney and her husband Joe of Smyrna, Ga., and David Conard and his wife Michelle of Lawrence; aunt Jenny Gliottone; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
   Funeral services were held Monday at Chambers, D’Errico & Correnti Funeral Home, 825 Chambers St., Trenton.
   Interment followed in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamilton Township.

Esther E. Wilson
   HIGHTSTOWN —Esther E. Wilson died April 3 at the Cranbury Center-Genesis Elder Care in Monroe Township after a brief illness. She was 96.
   Born in Millstone Township, she lived most of her life in Hightstown.
   She was a homemaker and a member of the Hightstown Presbyterian Church.
   In addition to spending time with her family, she enjoyed solving crossword puzzles and watching TV, especially "Jeopardy" and "Wheel of Fortune."
   She was predeceased by her husband George F.; a sister, Bertha Hill; and two brothers, Henry and Earl Cook.Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Mary E. and Bob Schwear of Hightstown; one granddaughter, Ruth A. Wisniewski and her husband Jeff of Franklin Park; two grandsons, Richard Schwear and his wife Lisa of Hamilton and Robert Schwear II of Harriman, Tenn.; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ethel Hutchinson of Lawrence and Ada M. Kirkpatrick of Dover, Del.; and several nieces and nephews.
   Funeral services were held Thursday at Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, Hightstown.
   Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hightstown.
