Police seeking computer thief

A thief is wanted for stealing over $5,200 in computers.

   A thief wanted for breaking into five businesses and stealing more than $5,200 in computers inadvertently provided police with his mug shot.
   The man’s image was captured on a video conferencing camera attached to a computer he was stealing from Risk Management Enterprises on Route 130, police said.
   The picture shows a man between 5 feet 11 inches and 6 feet tall, with a brown mustache and wearing a blue T-shirt, dark baseball cap and what appears to be thick dark colored gloves.
   Police said the man entered Risk Management at 3:10 p.m. Sunday and took seven Dell computer monitors from seven different computer stations in the office.
   They said he is suspected of breaking into five businesses on Route 130, Route 32 and Herrod Boulevard between April 14 and Sunday.
   Police believe the same thief stole a Dell laptop valued at $1,400 from Antonix on Route 32 between 10 p.m. April 14 and 8:15 a.m. Friday. There was no sign of forced entry to the building.
   The thief damaged the front door and moved a nearby security camera at the Staples office on Herrod Boulevard between 10:30 p.m. Friday and 11 p.m. Sunday, police said. The door had several pry marks on it and the identification card swipe machine was damaged.
   Police also suspect the man of breaking into Berkowsky on Route 130 at 2 p.m. Sunday and taking three IMB Think Pad computers valued at $600 each. There were no signs of forced entry.
   He also is suspected of stealing a lap top computer valued at $2,000 from Market Resource on Route 130 at 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
