Glenn T. Allen
WHITING Glenn T. Allen, 59, died Tuesday at his residence with his family by his side.
Born in Saratoga, N.Y., he was a resident of Whiting since 2001, coming from New Egypt.
Glenn was most recently employed by the Plumsted Township school district as a groundskeeper. He was previously employed for many years by Dancers’ Farms in New Egypt.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was a lifetime member of the New Egypt Volunteer Fire Co., and a member of the American Legion Post 455 in New Egypt. He was a scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts Troop 9 in New Egypt and he coached baseball for the New Egypt Little League and the Babe Ruth League.
He was the son of the late Rutherford and Ellen Allen, brother of the late Roland Allen, Beverly Ruzycky, Neil Allen and Wayne Allen and brother-in-law of the late George Housekeeper.
Happily married for 37 years, he is survived by his wife Gertrude Allen of Whiting; two sons, Timothy Allen and his wife, Tina, of Georgia and William Allen and his wife, Shelia, of New Egypt; seven brothers and their wives, Richard and Betty Allen, Leonard and Tina Allen, Rutherford Allen, Arthur and Charlene Allen, James Allen, David and Mildred Allen and Walter and Joan Allen, all of Saratoga, N.Y.; four sisters and their husbands, Margie and Oscar Dufone, Mildred and Ed Mallory, Sandy and Ken Harrington, all of Saratoga, N.Y., and Donna and Roger Mach of Georgia; five grandchildren, Kyle and Jeffrey Allen of Georgia and Jacob, Joshua and Emma Marie Allen of New Egypt; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Emily Wiberg of Whiting, Ronald Housekeeper of Georgia, Mabel Notarrangello of Three Bridges, Bertha Stanziale of Hightstown and Mildred Allen of Saratoga, N.Y.; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. today, Friday, from the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main St., New Egypt.
Interment will be in Emley’s Hill Cemetery in Cream Ridge.

Lola L. Greene
PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. Lola L. Greene (nee Levin), 82 of Port St. Lucie, Fla., died Sunday.
She had been a resident of South Florida for 23 years, having moved from Hightstown. A self-taught piano player and vocalist, Ms. Greene spent her life as an entertainer, working at numerous restaurants and clubs throughout New Jersey and South Florida. She also charitably served as a pink lady at Port St. Lucie Medical center for 15 years.
She was predeceased in death by her husband of 29 years, Gilbert Greene. Lola is survived by her two sons, Martin (Laura) of Jupiter and Robert (Connie) of North Palm Beach, Fla.; a special loved one, Sandra Greene of North Palm Beach, Fla.; six grandchildren, Eva, Gillian, Erica, Nolan, Gilbert and Natalie; two sisters-in-law, Toby Levin and Miriam Diner; a niece, Susan Finn; a nephew, Ralph Diner; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
The family invites friends to celebrate the life of Lola L. Greene at a memorial service to be held at 11 a.m. today, Friday, at Temple Beth Ann, 2250 S. Central Boulevard, Jupiter, Fla.

Bryant Lewis Jr.
Bryant Lewis Jr., 84, of Jamesburg, died April 15 after a long illness at his residence with his family by his side.
Born in Morgan County, Ga., Bryant came to New Jersey in 1947 and lived in Dayton before moving to Jamesburg in 1949.
An active member of Jehovah’s Witnesses Forsgate Congregation, Monroe, he enjoyed working in his garden.
He began his career as a farm laborer. He then worked at Sayre-Fischer Brick Company as a brick setter for 17 years. He continued his employment working with New Brunswick Rubber Company in Deans as a machine operator for five years. From there, he worked for the East Windsor Board of Education as a custodian, retiring 20 years ago.
Mr. Lewis was predeceased by his parents, Bryant Sr. and Mary Mapp Lewis; a son, Ezra Lewis in 1975; a brother, Nathaniel Lewis; and a sister, Anna Belcher.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Cora Wilson Lewis; three grandchildren, Ezra "Tony" Lewis, Lisa Davis, and Carolyn Lewis; three great-grandchildren; four brothers, Amos, Joseph, Henderson and Ralph Lewis; and four sisters, Addie Bell Rivers, Lillian Davis, Eunice Shipp and Gertrude Walker. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday at the A.S. Cole Funeral Home, 22 N. Main St., Cranbury.
Burial followed in Brainerd Cemetery, Cranbury.
Robert C. McCoy
HIGHTSTOWN Robert C. McCoy, 49, died Sunday at Capital Health Systems at Fuld.
Born in Ebensburg, Pa., he had lived in Hightstown for most of his life.
Mr. McCoy was a 1973 graduate of Hightstown High School. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving from 1973 to 1976. He previously was employed at McGraw Hill for 15 years.
He was an active member of the American Legion Post 148, a frequent patron of the VFW Post 5700, and an avid NASCAR fan and Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Son of the late George E. McCoy and brother of the late Edward J. McCoy, he is survived by his mother and her companion, Margaret McCoy and Mike Lazar; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Donna McCoy Yeckley and Janet and Bruce MacDougall; a sister-in-law, Sandy McCoy of Concord, N.C.; nieces and nephews, Tina and her husband, Dave, Missy and her husband, Jim, Shonda, Eddie and his wife, Cindy, Jimmy, Kimmy, and Jessie; and three great-nieces and three great-nephews.
Graveside services were held Wednesday at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, North Hanover.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown.

Charles J. Mozur
DALLAS, Texas Charles J. Mozur died Saturday at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas.
Born in Trenton, he was a resident of Dallas, Texas.
He graduated from The Peddie School, received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Miami and a master’s degree from New York University.
He was the son of the late Charles and Margaret Salus Mozur.
He is survived by two sons, Charles J. Jr. and Kyle Mozur of Dallas, Texas; one daughter, Sheryl Mozur of Dallas, Texas; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Margaret Grossman of North Carolina and Carole and John F. Kustrup of Hopewell Township; and one niece and one nephew.
Funeral Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Thursday at Blessed Sacrament Church in Trenton.
Burial was in Ewing Church Cemetery.
Arrangements are by the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, Ewing.
David Specca
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. David Specca, 76, died April 14 at Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill, Pa.
Mr. Specca was born in Philadelphia and moved to Jacksonville 50 years ago.
He was a longtime vegetable farmer. He was a member of the board of directors of the Cooperative Growers Association of Tabernacle, past president of the Vegetable Growers Association of New Jersey, past president of the Vegetable Growers Association of Philadelphia. He was a member of the New Jersey Farm Bureau and the South Jersey Cooperative Council.
He was a former member of the Springfield Township Board of Education and a former member of the Christian Alliance Church of Tacony.
Mr. Specca is survived by four children, David R. Specca and his wife, Lisa, of Jacksonville, Linda Latchford and her husband, Alton, of Loysville, Pa., John Specca and his wife, Susanne, of East Windsor, and James R. Specca and his wife, Tesora, of Jacksonville. He is also survived by grandchildren: Heather (17), David C. (15), Zachariah (14), Stephen (11), Emily (11), John J. (7), Gavrielle M. (5) and Jamie (4); sisters, Rose Cochran of Upper Gwynnth, Pa. and Josephine Edwards of Philadelphia; and an uncle, Guido Puglia of Philadelphia. He is also survived by his former wife, Ann L. Specca of Denver, Pa.
Funeral services were held Monday at the Specca Farm, 841 Jacksonville Rd., Jacksonville. Interment was in the Columbus Cemetery.
