The South Brunswick Senior Center will host a free presentation by physical therapist Robin Pflieger of The Dizziness and Balance Center, Lakewood, at 12:30 p.m. May 5.
The program will include exercises for individuals suffering from inner-ear imbalance, and address issues such as vertigo, dizziness, imbalance, falls, nausea, and concentration difficulties. A vertigo support group has recently been formed at the center and meets the third Wednesday of each month at 10:45 a.m.
The South Brunswick Office on Aging in conjunction with the Alzheimer’s Association of Greater New Jersey will host “Alzheimer’s Disease and Updated Medical Research” May 26 at 7 p.m. The presentation will be given by Dr. Jeffrey Apter of the Princeton Medical Institute. He will discuss the medical aspects of Alzheimer’s disease as well as current research opportunities. Registration is required for the free presentation.
