On May 21, the Friends of the Hopewell Public Library will host their spring fund-raising event, "Art for Words," an auction of original works donated by 40 Delaware Valley artists.
The event will be held at Hopewell Center (formerly Kooltronic) at 57 Hamilton Ave., Hopewell Borough, at 7 p.m. There will be a cocktail reception with live music by folk band, "Wink and a Nod." Hopewell resident and local personality Ian Burrow will lead attendees through the auction, which begins at 8:15 p.m.
Thanks to the support of many Hopewell businesses, which are underwriting this event, all proceeds from ticket and art sales will go directly to the library. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door. Advance tickets are available at the Hopewell Public Library, 13 E. Broad St., or at Failte Coffeehouse, West Broad Street.
For more information, to buy tickets by mail, or to bid in absentia, contact the Friends at [email protected].
