Registration has begun for two upcoming trips offered by The South Brunswick Office on Aging. A trip to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty will be June 22 from 7 a.m.-4 p.m.
The trip will feature an observatory and ranger tour that includes the view of the base, lower promenade area and the pedestal (crown and torch are not accessible). Tickets are $15 per person.
A cruise on the Spirit of Philadelphia at Penns Landing will be held July 21 (rain or shine). The cruise will be along the Delaware River with views of the Philadelphia skyline, marine terminal, naval bases and other sites. The ship features three enclosed climate-controlled decks. The two-hour afternoon cruise will feature dancing, live entertainment and a buffet. Tickets are $45 per person, and seniors are allowed to bring non-seniors as guests for the same price.
