Nine vehicles in Princeton Township have recently been burglarized, according to the Princeton Township Police Department.
Police say the majority of incidents have occurred in the western half of the township and that Lawrence Township also has experienced similar break-ins along its Princeton Township border.
Unlocked vehicles parked in driveways and open garages have been entered, police said. There have been no reports of forced entry into township homes.
As a result, police are asking for help in tracking down suspects and advising that extra precautions be taken. Police recommend that homeowners lock their cars at all times and shut garage doors when not home and during overnight hours. Police also suggest having exterior lights wired to motion sensors or leaving the lights on continuously.
Residents who see any suspicious individuals are asked to call police immediately to provide an accurate description of the person or persons involved. Princeton Township Police can be reached at (609) 921-2100, ext. 0, and borough police at (609) 924-4141. Call (609) 921-2100, ext. 825, with any questions or for further crime-prevention information.
