Robert F. Burroughs Jr.

   Robert F. Burroughs Jr. of Holland, Pa., and Naples, Fla., and formerly of Pennington died at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Langhorne, Pa., on Monday.
   Born in Trenton, he had been a resident of Pennington and Hopewell Township for 73 years before moving to Holland. Pa.
   He was a graduate of Lehigh University, Class of 1943. Before his retirement he was president and chairman of the Board of Trenton Folding Box, Trenton. He was a member of the Pennington United Methodist Church, Pennington Lions Club, Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity, Cyrus Lodge No. 148, F. and A.M., Crescent Temple Shrine, the Glen Eagle Country Club of Naples, Fla., and the Trenton Country Club. He had been active in the YMCA in Pennington.
   Son of the late Leona and Robert F. Burroughs Sr. and brother of the late David B. Burroughs, he is survived by his wife of 62 years, Virginia Rogers Burroughs; a son Robert F. Burroughs III of Titusville; three daughters, Susan Boydston of Naples, Fla., Nancy Cavallo and her husband Vincent of Ewing and Jane Burroughs and her husband, Richard Peters of Lambertville; a sister Mary Lee Small of Naples, Fla.; nine grandchildren, Robert Boydston, Dr. Lauren Boydston and Robyn Boydston; Jennifer Mihavetz, Megan Laico, Alexis Burroughs, Michael J. Cavallo, Derek Brubaker and Hannah Brubaker; and six great- grandchildren.
   A memorial service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. in the Pennington United Methodist Church, 60 S. Main St., Pennington, with the Rev. James Hofacker, pastor, and the Rev. James Biggs co-officiating.
   Interment will be private.
