The Suburban Artists Guild (SAG) will hold its monthly meeting at 2 p.m. on May 13 at the East Brunswick Public Library, Jean Walling Civic Center.
Margaret Crawford, a signature member and past president of the New Jersey Watercolor Society, will be the guest demonstrator.
Crawford belongs to the Catherine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club, the Garden State Watercolor Society, the National Association of Women Artists and the American Artists Professional League. Her main interest is watercolor, but she has also worked in oil, pastel and acrylic.
SAG is an active painting and learning group, covering Middlesex, Monmouth and Somerset counties. Meetings are held on the second Friday of each month at the East Brunswick Library.
Registration going on at M’town Catholic school
Our Lady of Lourdes School, 44 Cleveland Ave., Milltown, is now accepting new-student registration for preschool, full-day kindergarten and grades 1-8 for the 2005-06 school year.

Yard sale to raise funds for E.B. Cub Scouts
Cub Scout Pack No. 223, East Brunswick, will hold a yard sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on May 21 at Chittick School, Old Bridge Turnpike and Flagler Street, East Brunswick. Rain date is May 22.
Proceeds will support the Scout pack and its programs.
EBHS girls lacrosse team plans car wash
The East Brunswick High School (EBHS) Lady Bears lacrosse team will sponsor a car wash from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 7 at Central School, Cranbury Road, across from the high school.
Cost is $5 for cars, $7 for vans and sport utility vehicles.
Youngsters invited to magic classes at library
A “Magic and Sleight-of-Hand Tricks” instruction program for children ages 7 years of age and up will be held at 7 p.m. on May 9, 16 and 23 at the South River Public Library, Appleby Avenue.
Participants must attend all three sessions. Class size is limited to 20 students.
