Robert Coleman

   EAST AMWELL — Robert E.C. Coleman Sr., 64, died Thursday, May 5, at Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township.
   Born and raised in Lambertville, Mr. Coleman had lived in East Amwell for the past 10 years.
   He was a member of the Lambertville Elks Lodge 1070 and the Flemington Moose Lodge.
   He worked for many years for Tenneco and most recently at Ehrlich Pest Control in Ringoes.
   Son of the late Alfred and Mildred Snyder Coleman, he is survived by two daughters, Gayle Coleman-Maurino of Milton, Del., and Elaine Imhof of Wallingford, Vt.; one son, Robert E.C. Coleman Jr. of Wanaque, N.J.; four brothers, A. Richard and Earl Coleman, both of Lambertville, Donald Coleman of Virginia and Karl Coleman of Myrtle Creek, Ore; two sisters, Doris Bodine of Edgewater, Fla., and Alberta Waslin of Georgia; five grandchildren, Patricia, Andrew, Searah, Emory and Savey Ann; and two great-grandchildren, Chelsea and Chase.
   Funeral services will be private and held under the direction of the Garefino Funeral Home in Lambertville.

Charles Listman

   LAMBERTVILLE — Charles E. Ryan Listman, 65, of Lambertville died Saturday, April 30.
   Mr. Listman was an actor and a Realtor with Weidel Realtors in New Hope.
   He was a member of the National Association of Realtors and a former member of SAG and AEA. His acting career spanned many decades. He studied under Eva LeGallienne and Paula and Lee Strasberg.
   Among his many credits, he appeared in stock in Westport, Conn., in off- and off-off-Broadway productions and on TV in "All My Children," "The Bionic Woman," "As the World Turns" and "Barnaby Jones," among others.
   Locally, he was in productions for the New Hope Arts Commission, Phillips Mill Theater in Solebury and Town & Country Players in Buckingham, Pa.
   He was predeceased by his father, Lester F. Listman and his mother, Marcella D. Listman.
   He is survived by his sister, Carole L. Falcone and her husband Paul; a niece, Lori Ann Leonard; and two nephews, Paul C. and William D. Falcone.
   The funeral was held Tuesday at St. Madeline Roman Catholic Church, Ridley Park. Burial was in Fernwood Memorial Park, Bridgeton, N.J.

Robert Burroughs

   HOLLAND, Pa. — Robert F. Burroughs Jr., of Holland, Pa., and Naples, Fla., and formerly of Pennington, died Monday, May 2, at St. Mary’s Medical Center.
   Born in Trenton, he had been a resident of Pennington and Hopewell Township for 73 years before moving to Holland.
   He was a graduate of Lehigh University, Class of 1943.
   Before his retirement he was president and chairman of the board of Trenton Folding Box.
   He was a member of the Pennington United Methodist Church, Pennington Lion’s Club, Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity, Cyrus Lodge No. 148, F&AM, Crescent Temple Shrine, the Glen Eagle Country Club of Naples and the Trenton Country Club.
   He had been active in the YMCA in Pennington.
   He was the son of the late Leona and Robert F. Burroughs Sr. and brother of the late David B. Burroughs.
   He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Virginia Rogers Burroughs; a son, Robert F. Burroughs III of Titusville; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Susan Boydston of Naples, Nancy and Vincent Cavallo of Ewing and Jane and Richard Peters of Lambertville; a sister, Mary Lee Small of Naples; nine grandchildren, Robert Boydston, Dr. Lauren Boydston and Robyn Boydston, Jennifer Mihavetz, Megan Laico, Alexis Burroughs, Michael J. Cavallo, Derek Brubaker and Hannah Brubaker; and six great-grandchildren.
   A memorial service was held Friday in the church with the Rev. James Hofacker, pastor, and the Rev. James Biggs officiating. Interment was private.
   Memorial donations may be made to the Memorial Fund of the church at 60 S. Main St., Pennington, 08534.
   Arrangements were under the direction of the Blackwell Memorial Home.
Maryann Rose

   WEST AMWELL — Maryann Hartl Rose, 49, of West Amwell died Monday, May 2, at Doylestown (Pa.) Hospital.
   Born in Flemington, Ms. Rose was a longtime resident of West Amwell.
   She was a waitress working for several area restaurants, including Frenchtown Inn, Stockton Inn and Lambertville Station. She most recently was employed by Jenny’s in Lahaska, Pa.
   She was the daughter of the late Charles W. and Marianne Nathaus Hartl.
   She is survived by her daughter and her companion, Jennifer Rose and David Rivera of West Amwell; her son, Stacy Rose of Warrington, Pa.; her grandson, Andrew Charles Rose of Warrington; her brother, William T. Hartl of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; her sister, Ellen M. O’Neill of Doylestown; her niece, Billie Anne Hartl and her nephew, Erik Hartl, both of Fort Lauderdale; and her longtime companion, Marty Valainis of West Amwell.
   Graveside services were held Friday at the Old Rocks Church, West Amwell.
   Arrangements were under the direction of the Van Horn-McDonough Funeral Home, Lambertville.
Walter Kennedy

   STOCKTON — Walter T. Kennedy Jr. of Stockton died Saturday, April 30, at home.
   Born in Jersey City, Mr. Kennedy, a retired mechanical draftsman, lived there most of his life and in Avon-by-the-Sea, N.J., before retiring to Stockton where he had resided for the past 17 years.
   He was the son of the late Gunda and Walter T. Kennedy of Avon. He was married to Ruth Kennedy, formerly of Jersey City, who died in 1994.
   He was a graduate of Snyder High School and attended Pratt Institute in New York before enlisting in the Navy in 1942.
   He served in World War II in the Asiatic-South Pacific Campaign with the 58th Naval Construction Battalion until his honorable discharge in 1946. He saw major combat throughout the Coral Sea and the Solomon Islands.
   After the war, he was employed by the Graver Water Conditioning Company, Union, N.J., and was a member of the VFW Post in Asbury Park, N.J.
   Surviving are his wife, Sarah Kennedy Kelly; two daughters and sons-in-law, Dr. Cheryl A. Kennedy and John F. Kelly of Stockton and Bonnie and Peter Sinacore of Shrewsbury, N.J.; his son and daughter-in-law, Thomas J. and Lorraine Kennedy of Charlotte, N.C.; seven grandchildren, Patrick, Kathleen, Kevin, Ian, Jamie, Ryan and Kristin; six great-grandsons, including Quinn Thomas Kennedy Kelly; and a sister, Evelyn M. Kennedy of Nutley, N.J.
   Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Reilly Funeral Home, in Belmar, N.J. Burial was in St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Wall Township.

Donald Mason

   PENNINGTON — Donald E. "Corky" Mason, 66, died Tuesday, May 3, at home.
   He was born in Philadelphia. He was raised in Lambertville and lived in the Hopewell-Pennington area for 39 years.
   Mr. Mason was educated in the Lambertville school system.
   He was a printer for Union Camp in New Hope for 10 years and was a meat cutter for Laurentis’ ShopRite in the Pennington area for 29 years.
   He was a member of Local 56.
   He was the son of the late Raymond and Viola Mason and brother of the late Raymond "Skeezix" Mason Jr.
   Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Mason; a son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Linda Driver of Pennington; a stepson, Harold H. Driver of Mercerville; four grandchildren, Bryan and Jamie Driver of Pennington and Maurice and Justin Driver of Ewing; six brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Alvin and Joyce Driver of Pennington, Addison and Louise Driver of Pennington, Constance Wheeler of Trenton and Seymour Hundley of Pennington; two uncles, Jack Mason of Lambertville and William Bogs of LaPlata, Md.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
   Funeral services were held Monday Bethel A.M.E. Church, Pennington. The Rev. Thomas Hills, pastor, officiated. Burial was in Ewing Cemetery.
   Arrangements were under the direction of the Hughes Funeral Home Pennington.
Inge Friedrich

   LAMBERTVILLE — Inge Friedrich, 66, of Lambertville died Sunday, May 8, at home.
   Born in Germany, she had resided in the Lambertville area for many years.
   She was the daughter of the late Hans and Berto Gernert.
   Surviving are her husband, Karl Friedrich; a son and daughter-in-law, Karl and Meg Friedrich of Connecticut; a daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Darryl Ziemba of Langhorne, Pa.; a brother, Tony Garnhart of Germany; a sister, Ilsa Hoover of Texas; and two grandchildren, Alison and Eric.
   Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Wilson-Apple Funeral Home, Pennington. Burial was in Harbourton Cemetery.

Warren Zahn

   DELAWARE — Warren A. Zahn, 78, died Sunday, May 8, at Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township.
   Born in Brooklyn, he was the son of the late Albert and Adele Zahn and was raised in Rockville Centre, Long Island. He lived in Wantagh, Long Island, before moving to Delaware Township in 1976.
   He was a 1944 graduate of South Side High School.
   That year, he joined the Navy, serving in World War II aboard the destroyer escort "Koiner" with the rank of motor machinist’s mate 3rd class.
   He was a graduate of Brooklyn Polytechnic, receiving a bachelor’s of science degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s of science degree in industrial management.
   He worked two years for Celanese Corp. and then from 1952-1987 with Mobil Oil Corp., first in New York City, then Pennington.
   He was a member of the Calvary Episcopal Church, Flemington.
   He was the widower of Peggy Zahn, who died in 2004. They were married for 52.
   Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Jack Lally of Brookfield, Conn.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Andrew Zahn of Annandale and Mary Zahn of Readington and Douglas and Christine Zahn of Bellmore, N.Y.; and nine grandchildren, Eric, Andrew Jr., David, Brian, Emily and Kristen Zahn, John Lally III, Christine Lally and Kerri Lally.
   Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the church. Burial will be in Rosemont Cemetery.
   Calling hours will be 6 to 9 p.m. today (May 12) at the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington.

Thomas Burns Jr.

   MORRISVILLE, Pa. — Thomas F. Burns Jr., 85, died Friday, May 6, at St. Mary Medical Center, Middletown Township, Pa.
   Born in Trenton, Mr. Burns had been a Morrisville resident since 1960, moving there from Trenton.
   Mr. Burns retired in 1980 from plant security at General Motors in Ewing Township where he had been employed for more than 30 years.
   He served in the Army during World War II in the European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign. He received two bronze service stars with one silver service star, the World War II Victory Medal, the French Fourragere and the Belgian Fourragere.
   Mr. Burns was a member of the Trenton Elks Lodge 105.
   He was the widower of Margaret M. Lisnak Burns and son of the late Thomas F. Sr. and Margaret Mace Burns.
   Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara B. and Robert J. Blanche of New Hope and Janice L. and David F. Brown of Morrisville; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Thomas F. Burns III of Spring Lake Heights, Robert J. and Debbie Burns of Marshals Creek, Pa., and Timothy P. Burns of Levittown, Pa.; nine grandchildren, Jocelyn, Griffin, Jason, Jillian, Mallory, Cory, Jourdan, Taliur and Kayleigh; one great-granddaughter, Lucy; and a sister-in-law, Helen Sheehan of Titusville.
   A Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Lower Makefield Township, Pa. Burial was at St. Ignatius Cemetery, Lower Makefield Township.
   Arrangements were under the direction of the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, Morrisville.
