George H. Gibbs
CREAM RIDGE The Rev. George H. Gibbs, 71, died May 9 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
Born in Groveville, he had lived in Crosswicks for 31 years before moving to Cream Ridge seven years ago.
He was a retired Methodist minister having served Juliustown, Jacobstown and Wrightstown. He had previously founded and operated Gibbs Landscaping and formed the Delaware Valley Travelers.
He was a member of the Crosswicks Mens Club and the Mens Club Chorus, the Crosswicks Fire Company, the Bordentown Rotary, Mt. Moriah Lodge 28 F&AM of Bordentown and was a member of the U.S. Naval Reserves.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Kay Gibbs; six children, George E. Gibbs of San Francisco, Calif., Cindi McKeen and her husband Mike of Crosswicks, Nancy Kohlmayer and her husband George of Hamilton Township, Edward Gibbs and his wife Patty of Bordentown Township, Richard Gibbs of Crosswicks and Kathy Krupa and her husband Chris of Crosswicks; a sister, Betty Carroll of Cream Ridge; 12 grandchildren, Michelle Donnelly and her husband Patrick, Jennifer, Dana, Ashley, George, Kourtney, Jessica, Michael, Katie, Ricky, Hannah, and Haven; two great-grandchildren, Patrick and Colm; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at the Crosswicks United Methodist Church, Ward Avenue and Church Street, Crosswicks.
Interment will follow in North Crosswicks Cemetery.
Friends may call 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., today, Thursday, at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown.

Alfred Sabo II
FAIRLESS HILLS, Pa. Alfred Sabo II, 59, died May 7 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania following a battle with leukemia.
Born in Trenton, Mr. Sabo was a longtime resident of Bordentown, before moving to Fairless Hills 24 years ago. He was employed with U.S. Steel for 22 years until retiring in 1991. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era.
He was the husband of 24 years to Lynn A. Sabo (nee Clark) and was the father of Heather L. and Alexander J. Sabo. He is survived by his sister, Marge Kersey of Boise, Idaho; and was the brother-in-law of Barbara and Rich Murphy of Yardley, Pa., Stephen and Loraine Clark of Charlotte, N.C. and Mary Beth and Jeff Snelson of Trenton; nephew of Irene Papp of Trenton, Emma Phillips of Levittown and Wilma Burzachiello of Newtown; and will also be sadly missed by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown followed by Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Trenton.

William Gyenge
William Gyenge, 79, of Roebling died May 3 at home.
Born in Roebling and a lifelong resident he was the son of the late Louis and Rose Babulya Gyenge.
Mr. Gyenge owned Elmer’s Auto Body of Florence with his brother Elmer from 1969 to 1989. He worked for John A. Roebling & Sons CF&I Corp. as an oiler for overhead cranes in the Hot Mills. Mr. Gyenge and lifetime friend John Possert built and owned their wood working shop on Hornberger Avenue where they worked as carpenters and cabinet makers. Also, he and longtime friend and companion Ann Egyud were owners of Little Ann’s Hotel in Wildwood for 20 years. In his youth he served in the Civilian Conservation Corps from 1939 to 1941. He was a US Navy veteran of World War II serving as a petty officer in the Southwest Pacific and during the Korean Conflict he was a US Merchant Marine.
He was a member of the Opre-Larsons VFW 8838 and the Roebling Historical Society. He was an avid fisherman, boat owner and duck and deer hunter.
He is survived by four sisters, Rosalie Kaechelin, Willingboro, Ethel Herbert, Florence, Olga "Kitty" Wasielewski, Burlington, Elizabeth Gyenge, Roebling; two brothers, Edward Gyenge and Lawrence Gyenge, Florence; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Funeral services and burial were conducted privately by Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, Roebling.
Theodore J. Lovenduski
Theodore J. Lovenduski Sr., 67, of Manahawkin, died May 1 in Southern Ocean Nursing and Rehab Center, Manahawkin.
Mr. Lovenduski was born in Burlington, he was the son of the late Frank and Sophie Kukulka Lewandowski.
He resided in Roebling for 35 years before moving to Manahawkin two years ago.
He was a retired grinder, employed by Fairless Steel, Fairless Hills, Pa. with 26 years service. Mr. Lovenduski was a former member of All Saints Catholic Church, Burlington, member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Manahawkin, Francis W. Robbins American legion Post 194, Florence.
He was a US Navy veteran serving from 1955 to 1958.
He is survived by wife Marguerite Lamb Lovenduski; son and daughter-in-law, Theodore J. Jr. and Robin Lovenduski of Roebling; daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and David Neal of Linwood; son and companion, Rany Lovenduski and Susan Daly of Glassboro; grandchildren, TJ, Christopher and Alexa Lovenduski, Rhiannon, Dawson and Stas Neal, Kevin and Ryann Troy; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Dolores and Richard Smith, Agnes and Donald Cobb, all of Burlington and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held Friday at Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Ave., Roebling. Funeral Mass was held at All Saints Catholic Church, High Street, Burlington.
Burial was in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Burlington Township.
