Rider expects surge in traffic for Friday graduation

Rider University has issued a traffic warning for its commencement ceremonies slated for Friday.
   Traffic is expected to be much heavier than normal on Route 206 north and south in the township near Rider University, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.
   The commencement ceremony is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. and more than 7,000 people are expected on campus.
   Traffic could become backed up on Exit 7A of I-95 leading to route 206 south. Motorists are advised to plan alternate routes during this time period. Officers form Lawrence Township Police Department and Rider Safety & Security will direct traffic on and off campus.
