Tomorrow, back by popular demand, is the Evans Tract multi-family yard sale. The sale begins at 8 a.m. and runs until the last treasure is sold.
Organizers say there are lots of great items, including furniture, but you’ll just have to stroll the neighborhood and find out for yourself.
The rain date is Sunday, May 22.
Gardeners, don’t forget to bring a plant to the Rocky Brook Garden Club/Friends of the Library program on Thursday.
The two groups are co-hosting a program including a plant swap at 8 p.m. in the school’s large group room.
Tara Miller, program director of the New Jersey Audubon Society, will be the guest speaker for the evening. She will present a slide program on how to attract wildlife to your yard.
The plant swap, door prizes and refreshments will take place following Ms. Miller’s talk. Admission is free.
The Cranbury Area Mother’s Club will be hosting a bike-a-thon to benefit the Ronald McDonald House of New Brunswick on Sunday June 5, from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The rain date is Sunday, June 12.
Ronald McDonald Houses provide a home-away-from-home for families of seriously ill children who are receiving treatment at nearby hospitals. The Ronald McDonald House provides a comfortable, supportive environment for these families.
It serves as a temporary residence near the medical facility where family members can sleep, eat, relax and find support from other families in similar situations.
Opening in late May, The Ronald McDonald House of New Brunswick is located at 147 Somerset St. The New Brunswick House will service families with children at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and St. Peter’s University Hospital.
Bikers and walkers with or without strollers are invited to participate. The bike-a-thon will take place at Heritage Park.
Each child who participates will receive a medal and popsicles at the finish line.
Pre-registration is encouraged. Sponsorship is just $3 per child or $8 per family. Additional sponsorships are welcome.

Stay and picnic for dinner afterwards, because Cranbury Pizza will generously make a donation each time the bike-a-thon is mentioned while placing an order.
Even if you can’t participate in the bike-a-thon, consider getting dinner at Cranbury Pizza and mention the fundraiser.
A meeting of the Historical Society’s House Tour Committee Chairs will take place on Tuesday, May 2, at 7:30 p.m. at the History Center, 6 S. Main St.
Family passes for the June 4 Strawberry Festival are on sale at the First Presbyterian Church office and the Cranbury Presbyterian Nursery School office for $25 each until May 23.
The Family Pass includes strawberries, cake, ice cream, music, games and pony rides for the your family. This is a great deal for families.
Tickets may be purchased at the door for $7 ($5 for seniors). All the grilled food will be sold separately.
