Anthony J. Leonic, 83, died in the University Medical Center at Princeton on Monday.
Born in Mt. Carmel, Pa., he had been a resident of Hopewell Township for 55 years.
He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II as a signalman on the U.S.S. Wasp in the South Pacific Theater. Before his retirement he was a self-employed plumber.
Husband of the late Wonnie Leonic and brother of the late John Leoniec and Mary Cermele, he is survived by his daughter Rene Leonic of Pennington and her friend William Elliott; a brother Joseph Leoniec of Lawrenceville; and many nephews and nieces.
Private family services were held at the Blackwell Memorial Home, Pennington.
Interment will be private.
