HILLSBOROUGH James A. Loveland Sr. died May 7 at home. He was 82.
He was born and raised in Scranton, Pa., and also lived in Raritan before moving to Hillsborough 30 years ago.
Mr. Loveland was a machine operator for Bayer Pharmaceutical in North Brunswick. He was a Navy veteran, serving during the Vietnam War.
Surviving are his wife, Phyllis (Whymeyer) Loveland, one son, James of Easton, Pa., a daughter, Tristen Loveland of Hillsborough; and three grandchildren.
Private funeral services were under the direction of the Hillsborough Funeral Home, Hillsborough.
