Donald P. Albury
Donald P. Albury died Sunday at the University Medical Center at Princeton. He was 54.
Born in the Bronx, N.Y., he was raised in Manhattan.
In 1986, he joined the computing and information technology division of Princeton University as assistant director of media services. Over the following 19 years, he became manager of media services within the Office of Information Technology.Before coming to the university, he was audio-visual coordinator for Teachers College in New York, where he worked for more than 17 years.
He attended Corpus Christi School in New York City, where he sang in the boys’ and men’s choir, and he graduated from Power Memorial Academy in 1968, where he was president of the glee club. He received a bachelor’s degree from Empire State College in 1980 and a master’s degree from Teachers College, Columbia University, in 1982.
A lover of the outdoors and an expert paddler, his wilderness trips to the Algonquin Provincial Park area of Ontario as a young man gave way to yearly trips to Nova Scotia with his family. He loved the opera of Puccini, the ballet of Balanchine and the philosophy of Monty Python.
He was active member of the chancel choir of the Princeton United Methodist Church.
Son of the late Irene and Ray, brother of the late Richard, he is survived by his wife of 23 years, LaVerna; daughter Jennifer; sister-in-law Marilyn Albury; nieces and nephews Elizabeth, Tom, Carolyn (Fauci), Richard Jr., William and Joseph; and great-nephews and great-nieces Michael, Samantha and Megan Fauci.
A memorial service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at the Princeton United Methodist Church, Nassau Street at Vandeventer Avenue, Princeton.
Visiting hours are 7 to 9 p.m. tonight and 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, 40 Vandeventer Ave., Princeton.
Burial will be in Princeton Cemetery.

Fannie C. Nitti
HAMILTON Fannie C. Chiarello Nitti died Sunday in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton.
She was 92.
Ms. Nitti was born in Trenton and resided in Ewing most of her life.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. James Church.
Predeceased by her parents Gennaro and Maria Capasso Chiarello, her husband Arthur Nitti, and by her brothers and sisters, Frank and Albert Chiarello, Mary Parkinson, Constance Battiste and Antoinette Oberc; she is survived by her children, Arthur and Linda Nitti of Lawrence, Anthony Nitti of Ewing and Carmen and Nancy Nitti of Hamilton; a brother and two sisters-in-law, Jerry and Rose Chiarello of Trenton and Mary Melillo of Lawrence; four sisters, Helen Capone of Trenton, Annie Belardino of California, Lucy Dutko of Hamilton, and Theresa and Clarence Brown of Morrisville, Pa.; six grandchildren and their spouses, Arthur and Kathleen Nitti, Diane and Jeff Curto, Michele and Ed Valeri, Anthony and Nancy Ellen Nitti, Christopher Nitti, Krista and Brian Devers; also survived by four great-grandchildren, Jeffrey, Victoria, Cameron and Ava; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A funeral will be held 9 a.m. Friday from Chambers D’Errico and Correnti Funeral Home, 825 Chambers St., Trenton.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday at St. James Church, 29 E. Paul Ave., Trenton.
Burial will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.
Leon Harris Hill
Leon Harris "Barney" Hill, 90, died May 16 at his residence.
Born in Trenton, he was one of the first students to graduate from the New Trenton Central High School. He graduated from Rider College, Rutgers University, and Stonier Graduate School of Banking. He was a graduate of the Dale Carnegie Human Relations Class of 1963.
Mr. Hill served in the U.S. Army for four years, including a tour in the Pacific, and he attained the rank of personnel sergeant major.
He started his 45-year banking career with Trenton Trust and retired from Wachovia Bank. Mr. Hill belonged to the bank’s bowling and golf teams. He was director of personnel, branch manager of the Princeton Pike office from 1969 until his retirement as vice president.
He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, serving as finance chairman and was also on the Board of Trustees. He was a dedicated member for 75 years. He was a member of Trenton Cyrus Lodge #5 F&AM in Pennington, he was a 32nd degree mason, and a member of the Valley of Central Jersey. He was the first president of Rotary Club International in 1971 in Lawrence. He was awarded the status of honorary membership at retirement. After retirement he joined Senior Citizens Club #1 of Lawrence Township, serving twice as president. Mr. Hill belonged to the Peddie School Golf Course.
Son of the late Leon A. and Stella Jones Hill, he is survived by his wife of 68 years, Ruth Stearn Hill.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Edria W. Addison
TRENTON Edria "Eddie" M. Wilson Addison died May 17 at Morris Hall/St. Joseph’s Nursing Home, Lawrence.She was 82.
Ms. Wilson was a lifelong resident of Trenton.
She was a retired employee of Mercer County Office on Aging.
She was a member of Union Baptist Church.
Daughter of the late Charles and Ira Mae Wilson, wife of the late Donald C. Addison Sr., she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Diane E. and John Marshall of Lawrence; a son and daughter-in-law Donald C. Jr. and Andria Addison of Trenton; a grandson and wife Thomas E. Matlock III and Chyrell of Pennington; a sister, Eloise W. Benson of Woodbury Heights; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held Tuesday at Union Baptist Church in Trenton.

Ernest J. Oliver
TRENTON Ernest J. Oliver died May 19 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton surrounded by his family.
He was 88.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong are resident.
He was a member of the first graduating class of Hamilton High School and earned an associates degree from Rider College.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and served as a staff sergeant with the 441 Troop carrier group receiving his honorable discharge in 1945. He retired from IBM with over 25 years of service.
He was a member of the Bordentown Elks Lodge 2085 and served on the National Foundation there for several years, also he was on the quoits league for several years at the lodge.
He served as a volunteer on the following organizations: Mount Carmel Guild, Interfaith caregivers, Catholic Charities, Visiting Nurse Association, ECHO Inc., and secretary of Coalition of Hamilton. He also was a member of the DeCou Seniors, a member of Holy Angels Church, the past president of Holy Angels Togetherness Club, an usher of the church and counted money for the church for many years. He was involved in many other volunteer activities of the church.
A worldwide traveler, he enjoyed playing hand bells with the ECHO group, woodworking with planes and boats, fishing and playing card games, and crossword puzzles.
Son of the late Ernest and Emma Walklet Oliver, husband of the late Winifred Oliver, brother of the late Charles Oliver, brother-in-law, Father Columban Sattler, sister-in-law, Madeleine Sattler, he is survived by his present wife, Jean Richardson Oliver, children and their spouses, James and Joyce Oliver of Savannah, Ga., Theresa and Duane Meyer of Lawrenceburg, Ind., Tom and Margaret Oliver of Crosswicks, Tim and Georgette Oliver of Marmora, Suzanne and Drew Hopkins of Pennington, sister-in-law, Dorothy Oliver of Lawrence, step-children and their spouses, John and Rania Richardson of New York City, Tom and Maureen Richardson of Hamilton, Dennis and Sharon Richardson of Hamilton; grandchildren, Roger Oliver, Jennifer Morris, Chris Meyer, Father Jonathan Meyer, Melissa Meyer, Matthew Oliver, Michael Oliver, Sara Hopkins, Lea Hopkins, Emily Hopkins, Drew Thomas Hopkins; great-grandchildren, Katherine Morris and Nathaniel Morris; step-grandchildren, Daniel, David, Lauren, Matthew and Jeffrey Richardson.
Funeral services were held Monday from Buklad Memorial Home in Hamilton.
Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamilton.
