   Katherine Ossiel Davalos Aybar, 19, of Somerville was charged with motor vehicle violations around 10 a.m. May 18 after being stopped on South Main Street for having a headlight out.
   Ms. Aybar also was charged with driving without a license, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and using a cell phone while driving.
   Ms. Aybar was processed, issued a summons and released pending a court appearance.

A 17-year-old boy of Manville was charged with DWI after he struck the Spring Garden Restaurant and broke a drain pipe at 12:10 a.m. May 19.
   A caller reported a possible drunken driver that was driving around the Dunkin’ Donuts parking lot after hitting the restaurant.
   He was transported to police headquarters, processed and released to the custody of his mother.

At 7:45 p.m. May 19, Jonathan Deangelo, 32, of Branchburg was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest during a motor vehicle trial at Manville Municipal cCourt.
   Mr. Deangelo was getting loud and boisterous, police said. An officer injured his right hand and wrist during the scuffle with Mr. Deangelo.
   Mr. Deangelo was processed and then transported to Somerset Medical Center for back injuries.
   His bail was set at $2,000 cash.

James Miller, 32, of Hillsborough was charged with shoplifting $47.46 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart at 2:45 p.m. May 22.
   He was brought to police headquarters, processed and transported to Somerset County Jail in lieu of $1,500 bail.
