Ruth P. Crawford
Ruth Pressinger Crawford, 94, of Vero Beach, Fla. and formerly of Hopewell Township, died May 30.
Born in New York City, she and her husband resided at the Old Green Farm on Woosamonsa Road in Hopewell Township from 1949 to 1972, when they retired to Florida.
She was a volunteer for Recording for the Blind and served on the board of the New Jersey Neuropsychiatric Institute in Montgomery.
She graduated from Ogontz School, Rydal, Pa., in 1929. She also attended the Sorbonne in Paris.
She and her husband enjoyed many years at their summer cottage in Camden, Maine.
Daughter of the late Whitfield and Sarah Newcombe Pressinger, she is survived by her husband of 71 years, J. Paul Crawford; sons and daughters-in-law Jay Crawford of Vero Beach, Fla., Steve Crawford and Liliane Floge of Derwood, Md., and Richard Crawford and Milika Nevarez of New York City; daughter Jean Crawford of Camden, Maine; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held in Vero Beach on June 4.

James J. McKee Sr.
James J. McKee Sr., 84, of Princeton died Monday at home.
Born in Princeton, he was a lifelong resident.
He was employed at New Jersey Bell Telephone Co. for 35 years, retiring in 1984.
He attended St. Paul’s School in Princeton and graduated from Princeton High School in 1939.
An Army veteran of World War II in the European Theater of Operations, he took part in the D-Day invasion. He was a member of the American Legion Post 76 in Princeton.
Son of the late Catherine and Albert McKee, he is survived by his wife of 58 years, Theresa Marie Mulryne McKee; daughters and sons-in-law Theresa and James Stores of Hopewell Township and Kathryn and Thomas DeFillipo of Lawrence Township; son and daughter-in-law James and Deborah McKee of Flanders; and grandchildren Jennifer and Kathryn Stores, James and Patrick McKee, and Danielle, Shannon and Nicole DeFillipo.
The funeral was held today at Kimble Funeral Home, Princeton.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, Princeton.
Interment was in St. Paul’s Cemetery.
