Matawan Recreation is seeking vendors for its Matawan Independence Day Fireworks July 3 from 8-10 p.m. at the Lake Lefferts facility, Ravine Drive (rain date July 8).
Registration fee is $75, and food or novelty vendors must register with Sheila Flamm. Forms are available at the Matawan Municipal Community Center, 201 Broad St. The event will also feature musical entertainment, and fireworks may also be viewed from the First Presbyterian Church parking lot on Route 34, Matawan.

Mothers & More multifamily yard sale June 18
The Monmouth County Chapter of Mothers & More will hold a multi family yard sale June 18 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at 357 East Road, Belford section of Middletown (rain or shine).
Offered will be clothing for all ages, toys, kitchen items, tools and lawn equipment, books for all ages, furniture, linens, audio and visual items and other items. Proceeds will benefit the group’s efforts to improve lives of mothers through support, education and advocacy. The Monmouth County chapter meets the first Tuesday of each month.

‘Trash and Treasure’ flea market June 18
Keyport Historical Society a “Trash and Treasure” flea market June 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in and on the grounds of the Steamboat Dock Museum.

The Baykeeper’s mission is to protect, preserve, and restore the ecological integrity and productivity of the Hudson-Raritan Estuary. Coffeehouse at M’town Library June 17
Middletown Library, 55 New Monmouth Road, will host a coffeehouse for local teenagers June 17 from 8-10 p.m. The free event is for teens age 12-18 who would like to display talents such as music, poetry or singing.

Military vehicle display at veterans’ center June 18
The parking lot at the Vietnam Era Educational Center, Holmdel, will present a hands-on display of military history dating from World War II through the post-Vietnam era June 18 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (rain date June 25).
The event is hosted by the New Jersey Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial Foundation and will feature restored military vehicles from the mid-20th century. The restored vehicles belong to members of various nonprofit military transport associations.
