Deep Cut Gardens, 352 Red Hill Road, Middletown, will host Daylily Day June 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The free event is presented by the Monmouth County Park System and the Garden State Daylily Growers.
It will feature early cultivars on display, bare-root daylily fans for sale, cultural advice, handouts and catalogs. There will also be videos on cultivars, and growers on hand to answer questions.

‘Two Rivers Beach Bash’
in Sea Bright June 18
The Sea Bright Recreation Committee will host its third annual “Two Rivers Beach Bash” June 18 from 4-8 p.m. at the Sea Bright municipal beach. The rain date is June 19.
The event will feature a barbecue, music, dancing, children’s rides and activities, a rock wall, door prizes, a drum circle demonstration, and other activities. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 12-18, and free for children younger than age 12. Proceeds are used to buy equipment and to fund recreation programs for children and families of Sea Bright.

MHA’s ‘Peninsula Party — Island Style’ June 24
The Mental Health Association (MHA) of Monmouth County Foundation, Eatontown, will hold its fifth annual “Peninsula Party — Island Style” June 24 at 7:30 p.m. at Rumson Country Club.
Proceeds will fund programs for emotionally disturbed children. The event will feature a buffet dinner, cash bar, steel band, and live music by The Jazz Lobsters. Tickets are $100 or $1,400 for a table of 10 and premium journal ad.

‘Butterfly Kisses’
fund-raiser June 16
Family Matters Inc., 59 Newman Springs Road, Shrewsbury, will hold “Butterfly Kisses” June 16 from 6-9:30 p.m. at Yesterday’s Restaurant, 3153 Route 35, Hazlet.
The fund-raising dance is designed to celebrate Father’s Day and is held for fathers, and daughters age 5-12. It will feature a buffet dinner, dessert, door prizes and live music. Tickets are $100 per couple.
