Ronald Schnorbus
MANSFIELD TOWNSHIP Ronald H. Schnorbus died Tuesday at home in the Columbus section of the township. He was 73.
Born in Trenton, he resided for most of his life in Lawrence and moved to Mansfield two years ago.
Mr. Schnorbus was a teacher with the Lawrence Township Public Schools and taught at Eldridge Park Elementary School.
He later founded Ronald H. Schnorbus Associates, a paint contracting company.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and was a graduate of Villanova University.
He played first base for the 1948 National Championship Trenton Schroths baseball team and for the 1951 Trenton Crusaders Baseball Club that won the Central New Jersey Championship that same year.
Mr. Schnorbus played in the U.S. Arm Baseball Championship in 1954 and the 1955 Pan-American Games in Mexico.
He was a member of the Church of St. Ann in Lawrence.
Son of the late Henry and Ann Medve Schnorbus and husband of the late Joan Smith Schnorbus, he is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, U.S.N. Captain Lauren Taulman, Lynn and Robert Kerris, and Lisa and Robert Stemmer; six grandchildren, Nathan, Kevin and Andrea Taulman, Joseph and Alexandra Vena, and Kyle Stemmer. Also surviving is his fiancée, Ailene Robinson.
The funeral will be held at 8 a.m., Saturday from Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrence.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9 a.m., in the Church of St. Ann.
Burial will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery in Hamilton.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
Anna D. Wszolek
STERLING, VA Anna Dmoch Wszolek died Sunday at the home of her daughter. She was 78.
Born in Trenton, Ms. Wszolek was a lifelong Trenton and Ewing resident before moving to Sterling, Va. in 2000.
She was a member of the Sterling Silver Seniors and the Mount Carmel Guild in Trenton.
Her favorite occupations were cooking and her family. She loved growing tomatoes.
Daughter of the late Vincent and Mary Jaiko Dmoch, wife of the late Henry "Hank" E. Wszolek, sister of the late Edward Dmoch, she is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Christine A. Wszolek of Sterling, Va., with whom she resided; and Sandra and Ken Rager of Acme, Pa.; two grandchildren, William and his wife Jennifer Burns of Acme, Pa., and Kristina Burns of Acme, Pa.; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Jean and Joseph Nucaso of Spring Hill, Fla., Jeannette Rambo of Hamilton, Helen Kay of Lawrence, and Mary and John Fazekas of Bordentown and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 9 a.m. today from the Winowicz Funeral Chapel, 865 Brunswick Ave.
A liturgy will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today in Saint Hedwig’s Church.
Burial will be in Saint Hedwig’s Cemetery, Ewing.
Keith Kovach
Keith "Moogogg" Kovach died on Thursday at home. He was 46.
Born in Trenton, Mr. Kovach was a lifetime area resident.
He was a graduate of Lawrence High School, Class of 1977, a member of the American Legion Post #414 in Lawrence and an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.
Son of the late Bernard J. Kovach, he is survived by his mother, Evelyn Merlino; a sister, Pamela Puca; an aunt and uncle, Teresa E. and Robert Gerke and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. today at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton.
Cremation will be private.
Family and friends may call from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today at the Colonial Home.

Michael Salway
Michael Salway died June 7 at Capital Health System at Mercer. He was 100.
Born in Trenton, he had resided most of his life in Lawrence and lived in Philadelphia and Florida briefly.
Mr. Salway was a bricklayer who had worked with many contractors. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II and served in the Army Corp of Engineers.
He was a member of the Mason’s and the Bricklayer’s unions.
Son of the late Samuel and Sophie Salway, husband of the late Bertha Salway, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Seymour and Joan Salway of Galloway; a sister, Anna Rabinowitz of Ewing; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held June 9 at the Congregation Brothers of Israel Cemetery in Hamilton.
Memorial contributions may be made to Greenwood House, 53 Walter St., Ewing Township or to a charity of donor’s choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Riverside Memorial Chapels, Ewing.
Susan S. Nowicki
Susan C. Scasny Nowicki died June 8 in her home. She was 85.
Born in Nesquehoning, Pa., Ms. Nowicki resided most of her life in Trenton and Lawrence. She worked for the General Motors, Eastern Aircraft division in Ewing. Ms. Nowicki was a licensed real estate salesperson. Ms. Nowicki was also a devoted wife and mother to whom family meant everything. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Holy Trinity Lutheran church, a music lover and avid concert-goer, who enjoyed gardening and puzzles.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Anna Hornyak Scasny and her siblings, John Scasny, Ann Heil and Elizabeth Krisak. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Edward P. Nowicki of Lawrence; her two daughters, Edwina Nowicki of Boston, Mass., and Susan Nowicki; and son-in-law, Jan Krzywicki of Philadelphia, Pa.; her brother Paul Scasny of Nesquehoning, Pa., and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
Entombment took place in the Greenwood Mausoleum in Hamilton Township. Arrangements were under the direction of the Winowicz Funeral Chapel.

Esther F. Adams
Esther Fowler Adams died June 8 at Tandem Health Care of Lawrenceville. She was 94.
Born in Auburn, N.Y., she was a resident of Lawrence since 1982.
She retired in 1972 after 30 years as a kindergarten teacher with the Hamilton Central School System in Hamilton, N.Y.
She had a passion for research and private independent study of mammals.
She was a member of the St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Hamilton, N.Y., before moving to Lawrence.
Daughter of the late Ralph and Grace DeVoe Fowler, wife of the late Dr. Eugene T. Adams, mother of the late James T. Adams, great-grandmother of the late Gabrielle Chadwick, sister of the late Carroll Fowler and his wife Thelma and sister of the late Betty Abbey, she is survived by a daughter, Ann Garwig and her husband Lee of Lawrence; a son, Stephen F. Adams of Florida; five grandchildren, Marc Savoie, Jennifer Adams, Jared Adams, Amy Munoz and Tina Chadwick; a great-granddaughter, Madison Munoz; daughter-in-law Joanne Adams, son-in-law, Ron Savoie, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday at the Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville.
