Charles ‘Howard’ Casey

   Charles "Howard" Casey, 93, of Pennington died Tuesday (June 14) at the Capital Health System, Mercer Campus.
   Born in Newark, he retired from the Continental Baking Company in Patterson.
   He was a member of Union #194, was an associate member of the New Jersey Blind Citizens Association, and was district leader and municipal chairman in Union Township for the Democratic party for years.
   He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.
   Son of the late William J. and Eleanor Hollen Casey, he is survived by his wife, Marion Sokoloski Casey; a son, Melvin Casey of Rahway; a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Casey and Lemuel H. Blackburn Jr. of Pennington; a granddaughter, Barbara Casey; and two great-grandchildren.
   Funeral services and interment will be private.
   There will be no calling hours.
