The Chamber’s 13th annual “Largest Networking Party” will be Sept. 13 at 5 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency, Albany Street, New Brunswick. The networking event will feature various foods, and music by Jimmy Dumont. The 2004 event drew approximately 30 restaurants offering samples, and competing for the Golden Spoon Award. Babies “R” Us, 909 Route 1 south, North Brunswick, will celebrate World Breastfeeding Week with free seminars and product demonstrations for new and expectant mothers Aug. 13 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Guest speaker Jennifer Santos-Kraft will discuss breastfeeding, and Dr. Alicia Dermer, M.D., will discuss the introduction of baby’s first foods and feeding other foods while breastfeeding. Magyar Bank, New Brunswick, has announced its president and CEO, Elizabeth E. Hance, recently received a diploma from the National School of Banking of America’s Community Bankers. Hance graduated with honors and was one of the 32-member graduating class. America’s Community Bankers represents community banks nationwide.
