Jane B. Sihler

Mrs. Sihler, 80, of Freehold, died Oct. 9 at her home. Born in South Amboy, she had lived there for many years before moving to Freehold 59 years ago. Before her retirement, Mrs. Sihler was a special education teacher at High Point School, Marlboro, for many years. Prior to her teaching career, she was a registered nurse. She was a graduate of Kean College, Union, and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Freehold. Mrs. Sihler is survived by her husband, Adolph Sihler; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Ann Jaedicke of Fairfax, Va.; three daughters and a son-in-law, Gail Fivek of Brick, Nancy and Dr. Wayne Mück of Millstone, and Lorraine Stitcher of Howell; a brother, James Burkard of Arlington, Texas; a sister, Nancy James of Hackettstown; and two grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at the Freeman Funeral Home, 47 E. Main St., Freehold, Thursday at 1 p.m., followed by interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold Township. Mildred Christina Moran

Mrs. Moran, 80, of Howell, died Oct. 7 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Manhattan, N.Y., she had lived in Staten Island, N.Y., and Manchester before moving to Howell a year ago. Mrs. Moran was secretarial supervisor at IBJ Schroeder Bank and Trust, New York, for 16 years before retiring in 1991. She was a former member of Christ Lutheran Church, Staten Island. She is survived by her husband, Joseph; a son, Andrew Moran, and his partner, Max Marty Goff, of Howell; a daughter and son-in-law, Christina and Martin Coyle of Freehold; a sister and brother-in-law, Alice and Jim MacDonald of Las Vegas; one granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service was held at the Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold, followed by interment at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arnytown, Burlington County.

Dorothy A. Breese

Mrs. Breese, 71, of Freehold Township, died Oct. 4 at her home. She was born in Freehold and had lived in Jackson before moving to Freehold Township four years ago. She was predeceased by her husband, Marvin Breese; two sons, Michael and Stephen; a great-granddaughter, Dakota; and a brother, Jack Wish. Mrs. Breese is survived by a son, Marvin J. Breese of New York City; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Brenda L. Davis of Honesdale, Pa., Linda and Ronald A. Mueller, and Wanda and Warren Wright, all of Monroe Township; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert J. and Pat Wish of Manalapan; a sister and brother-in-law, Patricia A. and Bernie McKenna of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; four grandchildren; a great-grandchild; five step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law; several sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold, followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township. Sylvia A. Predale

Mrs. Predale, 75, of Colts Neck, died Oct. 4 at JFK Medical Center, Edison. Born in Allentown, Pa., she had lived in Newark and Atlantic Highlands before moving to Colts Neck in 1965. Mrs. Predale was a 1952 graduate of Skidmore College, Saratoga Springs, N.Y. She was a member of the Colts Neck Reformed Church and the Colts Neck Senior Citizens as well as treasurer for Atlantic Cemetery, Colts Neck. She was also a knitting and crocheting instructor at the Manalapan Senior Center for many years. Mrs. Predale was predeceased by a son, Robert, in 1986. She is survived by her husband, Vito Predale; two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Nancy Predale of Blairstown, and Thomas and Pam Predale of Howell; a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Bruce Smith of Kentucky; two brothers, William Heberling of West Caldwell and John Heberling of Downey, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A funeral service was held at the Colts Neck Reformed Church, followed by interment at Atlantic Cemetery, Colts Neck. The Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.
