EAST AMWELL Carl William Marggraf, 95, of East Amwell Township died Sunday, Oct. 23, at The University Medical Center at Princeton.
Born in Germany, he had resided in East Amwell for more than 50 years.
He worked in the engineering division of Bell Telephone in Hopewell, retiring in 1975. He also had a New Jersey real estate license.
Surviving is his wife of 54 years, Elly Marggraf.
Funeral services were held Friday at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Raritan Township, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington. Burial was in Highland Cemetery, Hopewell.

JACOBSTOWN Anna K. Nurko, 85, died Tuesday, Oct. 25, at the University Medical Center at Princeton.
Born in Coatesville, Pa., she resided in Plainsboro, then in Millstone Township from 1939 to 1990 on the family farm and the past 16 years in Jacobstown.
She owned and operated Nurko Farms in Millstone where she worked along with her husband, George H. Nurko, and other family members for many years.
Following her husband’s death, she worked for Agway in Hightstown and then the East Windsor school system before retiring.
She was a member of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity in Trenton, the Sisterhood of Holy Trinity, the Pythian Sisters, past president of the Millstone PTA, the Young at Heart Senior Citizens of Cookstown and the Elite 48 of Bordentown.
In later years, she attended Plumsted Presbyterian Church.
She was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Krukowski and sister of the late Elias, Charles, Michael Krukowski and Estelle Hoffman.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, William M. and Clara Nurko of Millstone; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Georgia N. and David Poinsett of Allentown, Mary M. Nurko of Blue Hill, Maine, and Paulinea and Roy Johnson of Jacobstown; her grandchildren, Allan and Jennifer McIntosh of Asheville, N.C., Christina and Richard Esandrio of Monroe, Jennifer Poinsett of Lambertville, Jessica and Jamie Mladenoff of Dillsburg, Pa., Patricia and Kevin Hulick of Hamilton, Leslie Johnson and her fiancé, Daniel Longyhore, of Wilmington, Del., and Hope Johnson of Allentown, Pa; her great-grandchildren, Georgianna and Stefania Jo Mladenoff, Graciella Esandrio and Jacob and Haley Bay McIntosh; two brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.
A divine liturgy was held Monday at the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity, Trenton. Burial followed in Holy Trinity Cemetery in Hamilton.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Huber-Moore Funeral Home, Bordentown. Panachyda services were conducted Sunday at the funeral home.
