HILLSBOROUGH Walter Wolinski died Oct. 28 at Princeton Medical Center in Princeton. He was 68.
Born in Plock, Poland, Mr. Wolinski came to the United States in 1947 and was a resident of Hillsborough.
Mr. Wolinski worked at the American Cyanamid Corporation in Bound Brook for 11 years. He then worked at the National Starch and Chemical Corporation in Bridgewater for 18 years before retiring in 1998.
He served in the United States Army from 1958 to 1963. He was a long time active member and officer of the Polish Falcons of America Nest 942.
He was a member of Mary Mother of God Church in Hillsborough.
Survivors include his wife, Irene (Ksiezopolska) Wolinski of Hillsborough; two daughters, Monica Wolinski of Hillsborough and Diana (Wolinski) Behn of Kingwood Township; one son, Darren Kosiorek of Ringoes; his mother, Aniela (Cziewiercz) Wolinski of Hillsborough; four sisters, Bernice Dzewoszewski-Shimalla of Hillsborough, Maryann Antos of Manville, Barbara Salvatore of Readington and Irene Fialkowsky; two brothers, Stefan and Edward, both of Florida; and two grandchildren.
A funeral was held Nov. 2 from the Ketusky Funeral Home in Manville, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Mary mother Of God Church. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
