Margin of victory is considerably narrower than usual
Democrats Bernie Miller and Vicky Bergman won the two seats up for grabs on the Princeton Township Committee on Tuesday, but not without a fight.
Republicans Gordon Bryant and Thomas Pyle came within less than 500 votes of defeating Ms. Bergman and unseating Mr. Miller, the only incumbent in the race.
Democrats will retain all five seats on the governing body.
Unofficial returns, not including absentee ballots, were:
Miller (D)* 2,650
Bergman (D) 2,645
Bryant (R) 2,199
Pyle (R) 2,194
