The Princeton Community Democratic Organization will host a one-woman show titled "A Life of My Own: Meeting Eleanor Roosevelt" 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Suzanne Patterson Center behind Princeton Borough Hall.
The show, performed by Linda Kenyon, takes place on a train ride where Ms. Kenyon traces Eleanor Roosevelt’s life while talking to an imaginary stranger. The performance chronicles her life, beginning with her time as a star field hockey player at a girls’ preparatory school, and also delves into her marriage to Franklin Delano Roosevelt.
The event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact the PCDO at (609) 924-2545 or visit the organization’s Web site, www.princetondems.org.
