BORDENTOWN TOWNSHIP
Police charged an 18-year-old Hedding Road resident with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after responding to a suspicious persons call at the Southgate/Rydal apartments Nov. 19.
According to police, officers arrived in the parking lot around 4:30 p.m. to find a car filled with smoke. Police said officers discovered that the smoke was coming from Dane Gaskill and a juvenile passenger, who reportedly were smoking marijuana in the car.
Police said Mr. Gaskill admitted to smoking marijuana and officers found a partially burnt blunt in the ashtray. Mr. Gaskill also gave police a plastic container filled with marijuana, police said. He was charged and released, pending a court date. The boy was released to his parents without being charged.

Police last week nabbed a 24-year-old Oregon man who was wanted by Jackson County, Mo., officers on charges of theft.
According to police, officers on patrol just after midnight on Nov. 18 spotted a vehicle parked "out of place" in the Comfort Inn parking lot on Route 206. When they checked on the two men inside, a search for warrants came back with nothing and the officers left, police said.
Around 10:15 a.m., however, police said they received word that Dino Miller of Portland, Ore., who was staying at the Comfort Inn, was wanted on a Missouri warrant. Mr. Miller was arrested and taken to the Burlington County Jail, where he is awaiting extradition.
