Michael ‘Mickey’ Czerna

   FORKED RIVER — Michael "Mickey" Czerna died Nov. 16 at home. He was 89.
   Born in the Finderne section of Bridgewater, he resided in Manville before settling in Forked River 27 years ago.
   Mr. Czerna was a machinist for Johns-Manville Corp. for 45 years retiring in 1978.
   He was a member of the Vizsla Club of Northern New Jersey, the Lacey Elks of Lacey Township for the past 31 years and Johns-Manville Quarter Century Club.
   His wife, Gladys Lottie (Kozlowski) Czerna, died in 1986.
   Surviving are a son; Michael of Manchester; and daughter, Jane Lodgek of Irvine, Calif.; his sisters, Vilma DeBray of South Carolina and Margaret Hamilton of North Carolina; two grandsons, and two great-grandchildren.
   Funeral services were held Nov. 21 from at Fucillo and Warren Funeral Home in Manville with the Rev. Peter Maurer of Manville Reformed Church officiating. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
