Alice D. Grubb
   Alice D. Grubb died Saturday in Capital Health System at Mercer, Trenton. She was 90.
   Born in Mannington, W.Va., she resided in Lawrence for 30 years before moving to Lithonia, Ga. for 13 years. She then returned to Mannington for 13 years before returning to live in Lawrence the past seven years.
   She was employed by the Lawrence Township Board of Education for 20 years as the supervisor of cafeterias. She was also a sales representative for Tupperware for eight years.
   She was a member of the Lawrence Road Presbyterian Church. She was an avid quilter and enjoyed crotcheting. She enjoyed baking cakes and bowling.
   Daughter of the late Clifford and Ola Shuman, and wife of the late Lawrence Grubb, she is survived by two sons, James L. Grubb and his wife Carolyn of Lawrence, with whom she resided, and Jerri Grubb and his wife Barbara of Hilton Head, N.C.; a sister, June Christy of Fairmont, W.Va.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
   The funeral will be held 2 p.m. Friday at the Hutson Funeral Home, 500 E. Main St., Mannington, WV where friends may call from 1 p.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
   Memorial contributions may be made to the Lawrence Road Presbyterian Church, 1039 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
Edward A. Szeliga
   Edward A. Szeliga died Thursday in Capital Health System at Fuld. He was 82.
   Born in Trenton, he had resided in Lawrence for 58 years.
   Mr. Szeliga formerly worked as a cabinet make with Bailey Millworks in Lawrence. He was a professional musician and played clarinet and saxophone with the Glenn Garr Orchestra, Johnnie Stavins Band and Dick Chimes Band. At the time of his retirement, he was a building inspector in Plainsboro.
   He was a U.S. Army Air Force veteran of World War II and served as a radio operator on a B-17 Flying Fortress. Mr. Szeliga was a member of the Church of St. Ann in Lawrence, North Trenton Legion Post 458, the Lawrence Township Senior Center, Carpenter’s Union Local 31, and the Musician’s Union Local 62.
   Son of the late John and Stephanie Witalec Szeliga, brother of the late Walter Szeliga, and husband of the late Henrietta Pietras Szeliga, he is survived by two daughters and two sons-in-law, Diane and Michael Kelly and Melody and Robert Raimond; three grandchildren, Laura and Amber Kelly and Marissa Raimond; a sister and brother-in-law , Blanche and Eugene Wierzbicki; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Norman and Mary Ann Pietras; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
   The funeral was Monday from Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, Lawrence. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday in the Church of St. Ann. American Legion services were held Sunday.

John K. Connell
   HAMILTON — John Kevin Connell, 44, died Nov. 16 in Pennington. He was 44.
   Born in Trenton, Mr. Connell was a resident of Lawrence Township for many years and was a graduate of Lawrence High School. He was an athlete, sports enthusiast and former coach of recreational basketball.
   Mr. Connell is survived by his wife Valerie Coates; a daughter Kimberly Connell; seven stepchildren Janet, Sharol, Debrie, Mickel, Carleen, Carlton and Landy Coates; an aunt Blanche Rentner; eighteen step-grandchildren; and many cousins.
   A mass was celebrated Tuesday at the Church of St. Ann, Lawrence. Burial followed in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamilton.
John Pierzhanowski
   John C. Pierzhanowski died Nov. 16 at the Compassionate Care Hospice. He was 88.
   Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Pierzhanowski lived most of his life in Trenton and Lawrence Township.
   He was a U.S. Army veteran who served during World War II as a technical sergeant with the 430th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Weapons Battalion and fought in Central Europe. He retired in 1977 after 33 years service with the General Electric Company of Hamilton. He was a charter member of the American Legion, North Trenton Post 458.
   Mr. Pierzhanowski was also the Past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, St. Hedwig’s Council 7244. Additionally, he was a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus, Bishop Griffin Assembly. He was the church usher at Saint Hedwig’s Church. He enjoyed gardening and woodworking.
   Son of the late Bernard and Mary Ann Bienkowska Pierzhanowski and brother of the late Stanley Pierzhanowski, he is survived by his wife of 59 years, Stephanie Wolanin Pierzhanowski; his son, John E. Pierzhanowski; his daughter, Mary Ann C. Buccheri; two grandchildren, Christine M. Buccheri and Ronald S. Buccheri, all of Lawrence; three sisters, Sophia Sokolowski of Lawrence, Frances Papp of Trenton and Helen and her husband John Zack of Yardley, Pa.; his sister-in-law, Lottie Pierzhanowski of Hamilton; and several nieces and nephews.
   The funeral was Monday from the Winowicz Funeral Chapel, Trenton. Funeral liturgy was celebrated Monday in Saint Hedwig’s Church. Burial was in Saint Hedwig’s Cemetery.
Regina M. Scheffer
   Regina M. Scheffer died Nov. 15 at St. Joseph’s Nursing Center. She was 92. Born in Watertown, N.Y., she lived in Ewing for many years before moving to Lawrence.
   Daughter of the late John B. and Laura L. Rocca Erit and wife of the late Henry M. Scheffer, she is survived by her daughter, Regina M. Scheffer Keffer of Yardley, Pa.; five grandchildren, Regina M. Phillips, Elizabeth A. Abrams, John P. Keffer III, Joseph H. Keffer and Lara L. Keffer; nine great-grandchildren, Thomas, Erin and Meredith Phillips, Daniel Roth, Robyn Abrams, Aleah and Jake Keffer, and Riley and Cullen Keffer.
   Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday at Our Lady of Good Counsel Roman Catholic Church, Ewing. Entombment was in the Ewing Cemetery.

Andrew C. Sundell
   HAMILTON — Andrew C. Sundell died Nov. 15 in Compassionate Care Hospice in St. Francis Medical Center. He was 88. Born in Jersey City, Mr. Sundell had been a Hamilton resident since 1986, moving there from Hatboro, Pa.
   Mr. Sundell retired as a branch manager for the Continental Baking Company where he had been employed for over 32 years, retiring in 1985.
   He was a member of the Gothic Lodge and the Tall Cedars of Lebanon. He was also a member of the Five Pointers Senior Club and the V.F.W. Post 3525.
   Husband of the late Gladys Ann (Miller) Sundell and son of the late Andrew E. and Cristina (Dorsch) Sundell, he is survived by his wife Joyce D. (Cox) Sundell; two sons and two daughters-in-law, Andrew F. and Maryann Sundell of Hatboro, Pa., and Steven G. and Carolyn R. Sundell of Lawrence; one daughter and son-in-law, Deborah L. and Mark Angeline of Hamilton; six grandchildren, Kerri, Andrew, Caroline, Erin, Frank and Alexis; two brothers, George Sundell and his wife Bernadette of River Edge and Joel Sundell and his wife Caroline of Rutherford; and four nieces and one nephew.
   The funeral was Saturday from the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, Morrisville, Pa. Burial followed in Union Cemetery, Richboro, Pa.

Gerald D. Fabrizio
   LEVITTOWN, Pa. — Gerald D. Fabrizio Sr. died Nov. 14 in Fox Chase Cancer Center, Philadelphia. He was 59.
   Born in Trenton, he was a Levittown, Pa. resident for 25 years. Mr. Fabrizio was a U.S. Army veteran.
   He was a member of The Church of the Sacred Heart, Ironworker’s Union Local #68, a former commander and member of Disabled American Veteran’s Chapter 117 and a volunteer for Bristol Township Special Education Camp. He enjoyed camping and spending time outdoors and especially loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
   He was predeceased by his parents, Gaetano Fabrizio and Mary Gliottone Fabrizio; and brothers and a sister, Francis and Donald T. Fabrizio and Rachael Harris.
   He is survived by his children, Gerald Jr. and his wife Colleen Fabrizio of Levittown, Pa. and Shea Fabrizio of Trevose, Pa.; a dear companion, Donna Rae; a sister and two brothers-in-law, Linda and Joseph "Kang" Tuccillo of Lawrence and David A. Harris Sr. of Whiting; five grandchildren, Anthony and Nicholas Colon and Alyssa, Dominick and Thomas Gerald Fabrizio; a niece and nephew, Heather Johnson and David A. Harris Jr.; and a great-nephew, Joseph Johnson.
   The funeral was Saturday from Gruerio Funeral Home, Trenton. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. at The Church of the Sacred Heart, Trenton. Burial was in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton.
John T. Dymowski
   TRENTON — John T. Dymowski died Saturday at the Capital Health System at Fuld Campus. He was 91.
   Born in Trenton, Mr. Dymowski was a lifelong Trenton resident.
   He was a veteran who served during World War II as a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne in the 507th Parachute Infantry and fought in the campaigns of Ardennes, Central Europe, Normandy and Rhineland. He retired in 1980 after 25 years service as a quality control inspector for Stryker Machine Products of Trenton.
   Mr. Dymowski was a member of the Holy Cross Holy Name Society. Also, he was a freshwater and saltwater fisherman.
   Son of the late Frank and Elizabeth Smith Dymowski, husband of the late Bertha J. Partyka Dymowski, and brother of the late Alvin Dymowski, he is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Eileen H. and James Spaulding of Morrisville, Pa., and Patricia Ann Kopec of Hamilton; a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas J. Sr. and Patricia Ann Dymowski of Levittown, Pa.; six grandchildren, Deannea Dymowski, Tammy A. Dymowski, Thomas J. Dymowski Jr., David A. Dymowski, Jennifer Lynn Kopec and her fiancé Peter Bak, and Erin Leigh Kopec; two great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Lynn and Colin Michael; his brother and sister-in-law, Henry and Sally Dymowski of Lawrence; two sisters, Marie Lewis of Yardley, Pa. and Frances Dietrich of Hamilton; and several nieces and nephews.
   The funeral was Tuesday from the Winowicz Funeral Home, Trenton. Funeral Liturgy was celebrated Tuesday in the Divine Mercy Parish, Church of the Holy Cross. Burial was in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton.
