Marilyn Sesser
   Marilyn Richlin Sesser, 74, died Wednesday, Nov. 16, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick.
   Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Ms. Sesser resided in East Brunswick, before moving to Monroe, where she lived for 10 years. She also maintained a second home in Hawley, Pa.
   Prior to her retirement in 1986, Ms. Sesser was employed by the New Brunswick Board of Education as a first grade teacher for 20 years. Ms. Sesser was a member of the East Brunswick Jewish Center.
   She is survived by her husband, Sidney Sesser; a son, Andrew Sesser and his wife, Cheryl Dial, of Broomfield, Colo.; a brother, Jack Richlin and his wife, Patricia, of Wayside; and a granddaughter, Hannah Sesser.
   Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 18, Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, Cranbury Road at Evergreen Boulevard, East Brunswick. Interment will follow at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge. Services are under the direction of Mount Sinai. For directions, please visit the Web site www.msmc.us.

John Ballek
   John F. Ballek, 79, died Saturday, Nov. 19, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick.
   Born in Perth Amboy, he lived there and in Colonia before moving to Monroe 13 years ago.
   Mr. Ballek was an electrician for 45 years with Johnson & Johnson in North Brunswick before his retirement. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a communicant of St. James R.C. Church in Jamesburg and a former parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C. Church in Perth Amboy. He was the former vice-president of the Musicians Union Local 373 of Middlesex County. He was also an officer of the Textiles Worker Union of America, a member of the Joint Industrial Council (AFL-CIO), and a member of the Imperial Band of South River, the Bay City Band of Perth Amboy and the Cagers Club of the Rutgers University Women’s Basketball Team.
   Mr. Ballek is survived by his wife, Arlene (Stachowski) Ballek; sons, Mark Ballek of Somerset, and Keith Ballek of Sheffield, Vt.; a daughter, Nancy Ballek Garces and her husband, Ricardo, of North Brunswick; step-children, Lynne Billich Chavan of Bushkill Falls, Pa., William Billich of Monmouth Beach, Mark Billich of Union and Thomas Billich of South Plainfield; a sister, Theresa Plisko of Woodbridge; two grandchildren, Alexandra and Ricardo; and his mother-in-law, Helen Rose Stachowski of Perth Amboy.
   The Funeral Mass has held Wednesday, Nov. 23, a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, Perth Amboy, followed by a burial in the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Gustav Funeral Home, 419 Barclay St., Perth Amboy.
Tony A. DiPietro
   Tony A. DiPietro, 80, died Friday, Nov. 18, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick.
   Born in Monroe he lived his entire life in Jamesburg. He was an Operating Engineer for Local 825 in Newark, until his retirement in 1981.
   His wife, Amelia (Giacomozzi) DiPietro, died in 1983. He is survived by his son, Ronald, of South Portland, Maine; his daughter, Debra Lee DiPietro of Jamesburg; two brothers, Joseph G. and his wife, Ann, of Monroe and John and his wife, Barbara, of Fords; a sister, Grace N. Cerretti of East Brunswick; and a grandson, Anthony Bacchetti.
   At the family’s request, funeral services were private under the direction of the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, 205 Rhode Hall Road, Monroe Township. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 2550 Route 1, North Brunswick, N.J. 08902-4301.
Helen Glover
   Helen Hughes Glover, 95, died Tuesday, Nov. 8, at Francis E. Parker Memorial Home, Piscataway.
   Born in Durham, Okla., she lived in Fort Smith, Ariz., and Kimberling City, Mo., before moving to Rossmoor in 1978.
   Her husband, Campbell D. Glover, died in 1988. She is survived by a daughter, Susan Darnton of Princeton; three grandchildren, Nicholas, Catherine and Margaret Darnton; and three great-grandchildren.
   A memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 26, at 11 a.m. in the Rossmoor Community Church, Rossmoor.
Josephine Bober
   Josephine Bober, 74, of Monroe, died Tuesday, Nov. 15, at home.
   Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Ms. Bober retired in 1993 from American Re-Insurance. She was a parishioner of St. John Canty Church in Queens, N.Y.
   Her parents, Frank and Helen Madzelan Bober, are deceased. She is survived by a dear friend, Jean Schafran.
   A Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, Nov. 25, at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, Doylestown, Pa., followed by burial in the parish cemetery in Doylestown.
